Receiver issue - try adding a steel plate above and below the two plates on the tractor and bolt together with grade 8 bolts. Comment if you'd like the hardware. I'm retired and have a few hundred pounds of steel and grade 8 hardware that I don't need anymore. I've received much joy watching your adventures and would like to help you out. BTW - I'm in OK.

good show, im praying for your family emma lee. god is so good. i have had good ideas and not so good of ideas and down right bad ideas. but through it all everything always worked out. win loose or draw is still a win in away. you always learn. well we hope we learn. i think that is a great camp site, the water fall. i could play my guitar sing a few songs, camp fire, eat, coffee, enjoy the outdoors, its beautiful. the cat... the cliped ear is the sign they are fixed.
That is definitely a perfect spot to park the van. I don’t have any comment on whether you should keep it or not. That is perfectly up to you. If I had it, I would probably keep it if I had a beautiful spot to park it like you do.
I worked for a humane society for 20yrs. A few times over the years, an adopted cat either went back to its original home or even came back to our shelter on its own! The cat whom went back to its original owner traveled 22 miles back home(took 3 wks). The cat that came back to us traveled 9 miles. He had been a long-time resident of our shelter. They have an internal GPS of sorts. We even had a great dane that had been with us for 11 months. He even made it back to us 6 miles the 1st time it happened. He did it again the next time he was adopted out ( 4 miles--and we checked fences to insure they'd stay in)! After that, he just lived the remainder of his life with us. He seemed to be happiest with us! It's crazy that they can survive the 'wild' outdoors with traffic, predators, etc...
I would love to have a campsite like that. The boys will love it. The creek is perfect for relaxing because of the looks and the sound. You have a little bit of heaven in your own back yard
Get the 3 point with the receiver and ball. It will allow your trailer to pivot up and down so as to relieve the stress. You can also adjust the weight distribution by raising or lowering it and put more weight on your rear wheels to help with traction.
Your stray kitty friend looks like a bengal or savannah cat. They are very adventurous and still have alot of natural instincts to travel like the wild cats they are mixed with. That may be a factor in her behavior. Hopefully she can be caught and returned home!

Well i am 70 miles east of that in Shelby N.C. Believe we got hit also. 9 days with no power and water. I have 4 kids,6 grandkids. We still have homes to get power back on.Alot of those poor people do not. Please pray for their well being because they have no homes anymore. They need prayers. Buy a small mini split AC/Heater and a generator or power converter And you have a 4 season camper. Or find an old tractor trailer to take the unit off of one. Or even a travel trailer RV.
You have that great little cabin at the Mill Creek property … why don’t you camp there anymore? But I certainly see why you love that waterfall location!
That is a wonderful place to camp. We used to have a place like this on our family farm. Then people found out about kayaking and canoeing through this area. So it lost its peaceful appeal. Make sure you double tap those bolts on your tractor receiver hitch. This will prevent it from coming loose. Just a retired farmer giving you a tip. The tractor unfortunately is not built heavy enough for what you want to do. Always enjoy your program.😊

Daniel, about your hitch. A "ball & coupler" like you are currently using is mostly designed for flat or near flat land like streets. They have good flexibility with side ways turning but are very limited with up & down motion like your fields demand. This limited up/down ability applies pressure ontomthe contained bar, causing itmto bend. I believe that a "pintal hitch" (what it is called here in Ontario Canada) would be better suited for your needs. It has a much more ability to account for the up/down motion needed because of your fields.
Future trip. You and your son/sons should take the van and boat out on a fishing road trip for a couple of days before you sell. Could make a good video, maybe three.
You do have a beautiful place to live I love the creek with the dam and that old dump truck looks just like the one that my daddy drove back in the early 70's as a wrecker I went on many calls with him didn't realize just how precious those days were
EcoFlow now has air conditioners! Keep your van and bring a picnic table and build a fire pit at your campsite. I have so many great memories camping with my boys and dogs. I think if you just leave the van sitting where you now have it, you'll be surprised how much it'll get used. Just bring it back to the shop in the winter. That draw bar is going to break. I have a bar on my three point with a ball in the middle. I really like it. It's nice to be able to raise and lower the tongue while going through low spots.

I got a cat from a friend who lived probably 15 or 20 miles from us and it ended up travelling back home. It took awhile but she got there. We went and got her again but kept her locked up for a week or so she knew her new home.
About the van, Huston is at the age where he will be wanting to do more very soon. And one day you will turn around and he is gone hunting, fishing, and be out on his own. The van where it is not great is in good shape, and moved over as a camp site or hunting blind (shade cloth at home depo) Emily could use a place to chill right now. Dejay could use a space as well where the romantic could sit and hold hands. so, park it in the shed and start it once a week, and do a project once a month with the kids.
Hey Daniel, that receiver box needs reinforcement by another quarter inch around. The bar is fine,the bolts need to be hi grade or weld ears on the bar so as to when you slide it in,it has no slop side to side and up& down.Great videos as usual.!!

My son had a black cat hitch a ride on the back of his semi to the shop. Which is 160 miles from where we actually live. Not long after we got there I saw the cat jump down and run while I was waiting for my son in the car so we could go back home. Two weeks later one of the other truck drivers called my son said your cat hitched a ride on my truck I'll bring it to you after my days off. My son laughed, it's not my cat. So the driver kept the cat. It now rides inside the truck over the road. That cat rode almost 400 miles on the back frame of those two semi trucks to find its forever home. Cats are resilient! Lol 🤣
The campsite idea is fantastic! Life doesn't get much better than a lounge chair, the sound of water rippling and a crackling campfire! Perhaps add some worship music or a good book and it' as close to perfect as earth can get!

Daniel, I noticed that the 4x4/overlander guys that pull an off-road trailer. The part that clamps onto the ball articulates. That part maybe proprietary to the trailer manufacturers. If so, you could also make one out of driveshaft U-joint yokes. You would have to get your welder back. 😂 Be safe.

I suggest using the three point hitch to hall your trailer. I have done it a lot I like having the three points of attachment to the tractor.
