Wow!! Hyundai is killing it. Time for me to trade in my 2015 Santa Fe sport turbo for one of these! Sorry Honda, Mazda, Toyota and everyone else. Hyundai just change the game.
Kind of same here, but that tail light design is a not that good. I won’t I see how this looks in black color, black colors usually hide all the bad designs.
Hyundai Group is killing it! Their new Kia EV9 looks sick, this new Santa Fe looks great, and their Genesis line is luxurious. I can’t wait to see the Second Gen Hyundai Palisade and Kia Teluride, the Upcoming Genesis GV90, and the Hyundai Ioniq 7. I also really hope Hyundai puts their N Vision 74 into production. If you guys haven’t seen it, look it up, looks sick. Furthermore, see the Hyundai Santa Fe grow in size only confirms that the Kia/Palisade models will get bigger, as the rumors have suggested.
I’m glad somebody went to the future forward look. This is something you can drive maybe 10 yrs later and it should still look good. Can’t wait to see what it looks like with a lift kit
Maaaan Hyundai gets some criticism for not having a consistent design language across the brand and year over year, but damn, this thing is cool as hell. They knocked it out of the park again.
I'm loving this new look. Yes the rear looks a bit odd...but maybe that's a good thing especially with the cool *H* inspired lights. If I would change anything, it would be the rear lights..maybe duplicate the front lights for the rear with a few changes
Listen! when you have a mortgage and kids to put through to school. I dont give a fuck its a baby Range Rover 😅! If its more than half the price than why not
I remember the original Santa fe, this is decades of developments, finally, I want one. the tail gate is paying tribute to the original santa fe (I think)
looks gorgeous!! Especially the rear quarter looks fantastic. Only thing I'll be missing is the Low range 4x4. That will make this a real contender for a decent overlanding rig.
I can’t get over how good this looks. Now Hyundai just needs to make some worthwhile engines to put in these vehicles, to match the upscale and premium look they are going for
That's my only request, at least a 3.3 V6!!!.......cannot imagine the I4 pulling me on this rig!! I tried those 4 bangers on the Tucson and they are meah!
The current Santa Fe is sold as a 3 row in other world market(just like the similar Kia Sorrento) and they are sold alongside the Palisade and Telluride.
Little detail concerning the stalk: i feel like it has become muscle memory for most electronic shifters like this to have parking on the side (which this shifter does) and in descending order, RND, which this has flipped. I already know it will take getting used to once I get them in at work, since i work with one of the major car rental companies
You guys have much more tolerance than I do. When I heard anything under 2 hours is fine for the 3rd row, I was thinking 15 mins is ok, anything more, meh.
It would be nice to see how the new 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe HTRAC AWD model fares in off-road conditions (vs the previous, current generation HTRAC AWD Santa Fe model). 🤔
Please explain how the position of the rear lights allow for a larger cargo opening, the lights are fixed to the rear door, the door opens lower than the lights, and has no bearing on the position of the lights, Hyundai could have moved the lights further up and not affected the size of the rear door !!!
Umm it’s 100% taller by a decent amount. Last gen was ~66 inches with roof rails. New one is 70 inches but included the taller roof rails. So in practice the car is at least 2-3 inches taller.
The turn signal flasher at the back is inside the same frame as the brake lights. Not lower to the level of the rear bumper (from which it is not easily distinguished...!!).😡
The back is really bugging me. I was interested but when I talked with my wife she mentioned that it kind of looks like a funeral car! Besides that I love the car and hope that in a different color the back is not so bad .
My 2021 Hyundai Sonata SEL plus had wireless apple car play that NEVER worked right. The screen would freeze and go black. It was a constant issue that actually saddened me because it was one of the main reasons I even wanted the vehicle.
This is going to make Toyota and Honda supporters stop their blind devotion to the brands. Everyone is going to want this. It’s going to be a huge seller.
WOW, I should have waited for this instead of buying the Palisade Calligraphy AWD, This styling is out of the box thinking for Hyundai, better features inside than the Palisade, and I think looks better on the outside also.
Greetings from southern Ontario Canada I really enjoyed the video looking forward to seeing this sport utility vehicle especially when the Detroit auto show is September 15-24 no longer be January
One thing I like about my Hyundai is the shiftronic transmission, basically an electronic auto transmission that allows the driver to decide when to shift gears. Our Hyundai has the coldest A/C and smoothest shifting transmission of our cars (Mazda, Toyota)
Either way, it's designed by marketing instead of designers. Actually they should just get rid of all their designers if this is the kind of product they want to bring to market. Just use AI to bring to life your particular market-driven specs
@phillytothemax did you see the interior? Lots of high-end electronics. Look for it to soar well past 40k. Poor people don't buy cars in that price range. I'm just calling a cat a cat.
@@Red.Hot.Chili.Beans63 but the poor man version of something doesn't mean actually poor man can afford it it's not LITERALLY lol. Also a 40k car isnt expensive
Is that the same drivetrain that is killing the Kia Sorrento with transmission issues? The top spec model looks fine, but the lower models likely will be black plastic interiors with standard gauges.
Fresh look ... Unlike those homogeneous SUVs? Just looks like a slight different Ford flex from the front and like a 80s Japanese mini van from the rear.
My boss has a defender company car he basically let me drive whenever I wanted to. He loves his Tesla. That said, this sante fe is a defender vibe at a vastly more reliable and affordable vibe!!! Wonderful.
What do you think of the Santa Fe's new boxy styling? Is this a look you'd like to see more of from Hyundai? Let us know in the comments below!
I think this will cannibalize the sales of their best seller the Telluride
I like it
Boxy is great but putting the taillights way down in the bumper was a miss.
@@markwilliams6378u mean the Palisade
Feels like Kia had their next SUV ready to go, but Hyundai decide to rebrand it as the Santa Fe.
More cars need to look retrofuturistic tbh
It comes and goes in waves. There was definitely a push a decade or so ago for retro styling and now it's coming back I think
i definetly prefer this simplistic design over clusterfucky overdesigned styles that are so popular now
Didn't know there was a word for it . But this is what everyone needs to do.
Ugly.
Exactly

Such a massively open lift gate. That is pretty incredible and definitely appreciated when moving those awkward furniture pieces and everything!
It's an awesome design feature!
Can't wait for this senta fe 2024 💯🙏
Love that XRT CONCEPT 🥰 Wish I could’ve seen that one, too!
The more I watched this video, the better it got. This is really nice!!
I've never been much on SUVs, but this Santa Fe rocks.
Best looking SUV out there! Wow
Maaaan Hyundai gets some criticism for not having a consistent design language across the brand and year over year, but damn, this thing is cool as hell. They knocked it out of the park again.
Similar design cue from Range Rover, but with much lower price and probably a lot more reliability. I'd say that's a win.
Not a fan of Range Rover, but even that looks a million times better than this block of junk.
I'm loving this new look. Yes the rear looks a bit odd...but maybe that's a good thing especially with the cool *H* inspired lights. If I would change anything, it would be the rear lights..maybe duplicate the front lights for the rear with a few changes
It’s a Land Rover with reliable electronics! This will definitely sell well.
I doubt it
IT won't. Only Toyota can sell well.
I want one soo bad! Its Defender meets G-Wagon. Hyundai changed the game!! I will option one in white with black rims!

I would never even consider buying a Hyundai, but this thing could change that!
Hyundais are much better than they used to be, this is one that's definitely worth checking out
No please don't....
I normally only consider sports cars, but this is making me think twice. Why does the new Santa Fe look so good?!!! 🤣🤣🤣
Kind of the love child of the Ford Flex and what a modern Isuzu Trooper would look like. I Like it!
That’s such a badass looking Ford Flex
I wonder what will happen to the Palisade, now that the Santa Fe gas grown a lot and has a third row?
Nothing! Toyota has a Highlander and the new Grand Highlander. This will compete with the regular wheel based Highlander.
The current Santa Fe is sold as a 3 row in other world market(just like the similar Kia Sorrento) and they are sold alongside the Palisade and Telluride.
You know what will happen. The Palisade will get more obese and take an even larger miracle to park on crowded Manhattan streets.
@@lamontjohnson5810 That's what the American people want. Big large spacey vehicles.
Love the back!!!
It's really owesome!
Great car but why the rear light so low? I thought the purpose of the rear light was for driver in the rear car to be able to see them 🫣
Interior screams Range Rover, love it.
Copy cat car company
not a fan of new interior.
But Hyundai already shows these types of interior on hyundai grandeur (Azera)
I like it, too, but some of it is a blatant rip off. Compare the steering wheel on this to a Range Rover.

Sorry if this launches in Australia ill buy it. There is a reason why money can buy happiness. This is happiness.
I need a V6!!!!!! please add a choice of a 3.3T, the NA version of that engine is nice cannot imagine the turbo version that's used by Genesis!!!!
Why did they give no upgrade to the powertrains? 1 step forward for design, 2 steps back for power and fuel economy.
Love the look
I think being horizontal challenged is more of an issue on the 3rd row than vertically

Does it have a spare tire? What about the hybrid model?
