Why would you want an idler drive automatic Dual turntable? Build quality and smooth operation!

I just finished restoring my Elac Mirocord 50H. Similar idler tire design. All steel. No plastic. A lot of cleaning and regreasing! It has the original cart and stylus. Sounds amazing. I need to pick up one of these for my collection. Its a classic.

Good timing. I have a couple of those I need to work on. Mostly just from sitting too long.

Great dual turntables. What I do, is give my plateau a spin before the idler hits the plateau to protect the idler wheel from flat spots. That plateau weighs 3 kg. It's a dual 1229 bought for €20 that just needed degreasing and new lube. It also had the M75 type D card, but I changed it for a V15 type III.
