Dude, medical professionals take on avg Rs.2000 per hour.
It takes at least 5-6 sessions for them to actually know you and get to the roots of your problems.
Then, 10-12 sessions to solve them.
And sadly, some of them don't even pay attention properly :(
With the average income and work hours of our country we don't have enough money and time to afford them.

OMG I'm so glad someone addressed this. Being a student, I myself feel that it is completely unfair, the way our mental health is deteriorating because of things like lack of future uncertainty, peer pressure, to be the exceptional prodegeys etc., that only millennials seem to be facing. I sometimes wonder how the future generations will cope up with something like this.

This is so amazing! If only people actually understood this. Rather the culture is that if someone is actually maintaining a healthy work life balance, how to pull him or her back by commenting on "itna jaldi ghar ja rahe ho? Lagta h kuch kaam nhi h" while the same people as you rightly pointed out do effectively 3 hours of work by "keeping busy" for even as far as 12 hours

I'm Burned out and been burned out since 2008. Financially my life is getting worse .
Boomers lives gotten easier and easier. Millinials lives are getting harder and harder. I'm a millinial male with adhd and I am tired! I can't keep up.
I don't ask for much, all I need is a studio apartment, used car, and cel, THATS IT!!! I don't need a fancy house, nice ride, or infinite hot girlfriends, im a introvert anyway. All I want is a simple quite life, but I can't even get that. My rent is going up every year, my car insurance doubles every 6 months, and price for basic needs are high.
I CAN'T EVEN LIVE A BASIC LIFE WITH OUT IT BEING F**KED UP! And I'm not a greedy person at all. I'm a strong advocate of the Maslow hierarchy of needs, ALL I NEED IS Physiological needs and Safety needs and I'll be happy, The belonging and esteem can wait. This society is too fast and demanding I can't keep up. I'm done! 😒

I feel like even if I know this information, but if I dont spend the amount of time others want me too... that I'm dumb.

The part about why Millennials can't do adult works is in my opinion because they were never taught any. If all you did was study and hang out with friends all your life and then suddenly you have your own place, freedom and dirty dishes that you never really noticed before, all that new work you never had to care for before but are responsible for now is hard to adapt to.

I am a writer by profession. When I came into this field I thought there would nothing else necessary because writing keeps me more than happy. That is what we think about professions like these right? It is pretty chilled and we are doing what we like doing. It is true in all the aspects above but I recently figured out that it is necessary to do other things like playing some music, playing some sport, hanging out with friends and as simple as taking a walk. So burn outs happen everywhere.
@Vitaminstree if you say people back then handled things better and burn out was less, what do you think reason might be?

    • @ranurai6452

In my point of view i guess, there was very less peer pressure as compared to our gen ... I aksed my mamu and chachu once they told us they were never pressured for studies or to be the topper among people.. They did their studies in a playful environment... Also secondly i guess its considered being busy is a boon these days..and if you are free it's considered "vella" which deteriorates once privacy of enjoying stuff freely.

Like they had to figure everything of sudden surge of adulthood and responsibilities. They might or might not be millennial because the age to marriage was way lesser back then

    • @rachel8116
      @rachel8116 5 ปีที่แล้ว

It's also part of the question of Indian identity. A lot of indians themselves seem 2 have a vry narrow idea of what it means to b indian. As a goan catholic my culture is seen as too westernised n not rlly Indian n the government has taken steps to try to erase it. Rascism in India n discrimination based on differences in race, culture n appearance is very real n affects many in quite severe ways. So I think it's a conversation that we have to have.
