Long time listener and supporter of the band. This was a smashing watch. Love 'em to bits.

Nice one boys, seems like you followed your dreams and took a few of us along with you. We're very glad we did.

Thank you so much guys for influencing my musical landscape so much. Magic melodies, magic blend of voices and now me taking more care in how I write myself. H/heroine is my magic album.. and i’m still under its influence, What an album!!
Yes, i also have the other albums, lol. Thank you for the unique and the truthful timelessness of your music. Hopefully i’ll make the ‘white bear’ before i’m 70. I’ll raise my glass to great music. 👍😊👍

Lovely, thanks for this slice of British folk history. Saw you on your first Canadian tour in 70 methinks. Shouted out, much to everyone's surprise *Hurrah for the Strawberry Hill Boys!*

I love you, Strawbs! First saw you live in a chilly hockey arena in Kingston, Ontario. FM radio - thank gawd for that!

Really interesting and well produced video. The Strawbs is a band i used to play a lot in my now defunct radio show. You could hear "Angel Wine", "Heartbreaker", "Simple Visions", "New Beginnings", "Lay Down" and many more.

Love seeing all the locations I'm familiar with from my youth, used to drink in the Black Horse down the road, not knowing about the White Bear, would have gone there if I'd known.

And so much of a difference you made.. I’m up for the change this year but your songs..... history. Loving history. Apples under cots etc. Probably my only claim to fame. Outstanding tunes. Scarborough times. Every day is another day..... ❤️❤️❤️

I never knew the influence this pub had on the British music scene. When I was at college in Twickenham, 1976-79, a dear friend of mine (Steffi Grimshaw) asked me to do some posters for the venue to display round the college. So I did what I could to promote the bands and popped down to catch some in action. The ‘Sunday Band’ was always a treat as you never knew who would be there from one week to the next. Those were the days!!

I love the Strawbs and first encountered them in 1977 when the "Burnin' For You" album came out and Heartbreaker was getting airplay here in the States. It's really amazing how long they have been around and how much great music they have made over the years.

I was waiting for the 'White Bear'. I fondly remember the nights when Lonnie Donnegan sat in with The Strawbs....and every other gig you played.

Is it true that ‘Part of the Union’ caused a few ructions in the group?
    Anyone know?
I know it’s a bit of a daft song but it is a bit of fun.
