Nigeria is the most popular and populous country in Africa. with a population of over 200 million people in an area of 923,769 square kilometers, it is one of densely populated country in Africa, with a density of about 232.1 people per kilometer square,

    Nigeria is home to a richest black man in the entire world. Aliko Dangote, is the richest man in Africa and a richest black man in the world. Dangote is a Nigerian tycoon, with businesses ranging from agriculture, banking, cement production and manufacturing in general. his net worth is estimated to be more than $12 billion.

    Nigeria with a GDP of about US$450 billion , has the largest economy in Africa. It overtook South Africa in 2008 for the first time since 1981. in 2013, Nigerian economy reached its highest point of all times, of whopping $509.9 billion of GDP. Nigeria is the 12th largest producer of crude oil, pushing out over 2.5 million barrels per day. Even though oil accounts for over 70% of the country’s exports, it only make up to 8% of the GDP, with agriculture contributing around 24.14 percent, while industry contributes 28.22 percent, and 46.39 percent from the services sector.
    This Country holds the largest natural gas reserves on the continent, and is Africa's largest oil and gas producer, it is projected to rank among the world's top ten economies by 2050.
