You don't need anyone else's forgiveness (unless you wronged someone), but God's. I too, am going through a rough time in my life, and after 4 months of it I have gone through hell only to realize that God has always been waiting for me with open arms, ready to give me His peace. That's all you need, man...you have His love already! What you need is His peace that surpasses all understanding. If we have that, there is NOTHING, NOTHING we can't go through, including death. I dare you to try. I don't know you personally, but I will pray for you and everyone else like you and me. God bless!

Hymns aren't uncool. Especially in Reformed circles, modern hymns are being made and are making a comeback. A few examples are Kristyn and Keith Getty, Sovereign Grace, Indelible Grace, etc. Hymns are awesome and deeeeeep. =)

We can see God everyday.. Through the clouds the grass the trees through our children. How can any of these come from mere coincidence.. Only our heavenly father could have created such marvelous and beautiful things. We have a choice . we choose to believe in a God that is all mighty and powerful full of love and Grace and know that one day when we die we will meet him and be reunited with our loved ones...or we choose to believe that everything is here just because and when we die that's it...we just die. That is incredibly sad. I put my faith and trust I'm God because I choose to believe there is more to our lives than what the world has to offer. Trendy or not trendy, these are the hymns I remember from younger days singing in the choir. When we sang we had only the piano or the organ to accompany us so if I close my eyes, I can feel 40 years younger and picture myself belting out these songs in praise of my saviour. It makes me happy and it turns my thoughts to Jesus - so it doesn't matter how 'trendy' it is.

I am writing this not in sadness but in gladness for all the blessings that God has bestowed on me and my family of six wonderful children and their own families now. Some how God helped me during such a long period of hopelessness. Look for the brightness in the day, no matter how small it feels. Go out everyday to create that light, open a door for a stranger and smile, feed the birds some seeds, volunteer at a nursing home or senior day program to read to those who can not see, or go to a park sit on a bench close your eyes and feel Gods' love in the warmth of the sun. Tia K Inbox me for more info but a few things I'm a seminary student and i should be writing a paper on Romans but you get priority. 1) Read Romans and find a pastor or mature christian who can guide you through it particularly Romans 3 to 6. 2) Salvation has been given to you freely and without burden, you do not have to earn your place with God the only salvation is found in Christ, and I will gladly tell you about it 3) Yes the path is narrow and it can be tough but God knows you are weak which is why he came down as Christ to die for you and rose again to show he overcame he than provided Holy Spirit and scripture to be your guide. The path is tough but its a lot tougher if you think you need to 'impress' God, you are under grace not the law. 4) Don't you dare think less of yourself for being a woman. Your place is a daughter of God, people have placed restrictions because of a need to control, Christ didn't think less of the Samaritan woman and he doesn't think less of you. Worshiping God means following Christ to realize that you are created in God's image and he made you. To worship God is to give yourself to him wholly and fully, and starts with Christ. But NT does emphasise good works a lot "Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire." etc. Also bible forbids women teaching or speaking in church or using authority over man. Bible also says that the head of every man is Christ and head of every women is man. I do believe that if I'm no use to kingdom of God I will be cast down. I don't think that salvation comes by faith or grace alone.

My love for hymns cannot be replaced CCM. When I accepted the Jesus as Lord and Savior and during the fellowship I gathered only old hymns were used. Now it seems my hearing is shattered at the sound of rock and roll praise songs and those dancing to the tune on the stage of the church.

I love this so much. Being in college can be really stressing and having spiritual music while you study is so uplifting and hopeful. I have an apartment and don't see my family a lot so I often miss them. It helps to have christian music because it reminds us of the love of God and encouraging on our day to day lives.

Thank you for uploading the 'non trendy' old hymns of yesteryear. I am wary of these happy clappy rock and roll so called hymns - they are fodder to tickle the ear of many 'modern' believers. These hymns you play (so beautifully) are quite the opposite - simple yet clean and free from 'trendy'church' .

As a relatively new believer who lived "in the world" a long time, I appreciate Christian music that meets and replaces the old garbage I used to like in a genre that I still like. The words, as long as they are glorifying God is what is important, not whether or not there is only a piano or guitar or if the accompanying back-beat is played by a hard driving drum. Different music appeals at different times, sometimes this music is what my soul needs and sometimes when I'm on the road driving by myself, I crank up David Crowder, Toby Mac or NewsBoys and sing and worship at the top of my lungs with joyful abandon. Different stokes...
***** But are we not of this world? We are one, she is right, as long as it glorifies our Lord and Savior in the heavens, it is praises to Him. By separating genres, we assume a "higher" standard of music. Music is music. The difference is what the message in that song is, and its purpose. For instance, there could be a love song to a mother, and this song does not become "worldly" just because it is not "spiritual." Jesus said to honor your mother and father, is this not a praise to the Lord? A sign of obedience? Man are sinners, and no one is clean, so essentially, all music is "wordly," because it originated in the world. God does not want us to label. Jesus wanted everything to be simple, his messages were direct and understandable. He was perfection.
It feels ironic, How I used to listen to this hymn every night back then, for through this simple worship sound I feel the connection between me and God. I used to listen to this so much and cry for comfort. Now the prayers I had been praying for were answered, in a very unexpected ways. God truly works in silence, He's making a way when there seem to be no way. Now I'm all blessed and finally in comfort. More difficult challenges will be encountered, and will be overcomed thru Christ our Savior who strengthen me! Keep the faith no matter what. Find the light in the darkness, follow that light, and eventually you will see the door you were looking for, the end of your pain and darkness, He is the light, seek and you will see. I beg him not to hide his face from me. Hymns aren't uncool. Especially in Reformed circles, modern hymns are being made and are making a comeback. A few examples are Kristyn and Keith Getty, Sovereign Grace, Indelible Grace, etc. Hymns are awesome and deeeeeep. =)

I was a caregiver to a non christian lady who had anxiety I played this to her one day and she was hooked! .She would play this all day till bed time everyday.
We can see God everyday.. Through the clouds the grass the trees through our children. How can any of these come from mere coincidence.. Only our heavenly father could have created such marvelous and beautiful things. We have a choice . we choose to believe in a God that is all mighty and powerful full of love and Grace and know that one day when we die we will meet him and be reunited with our loved ones...or we choose to believe that everything is here just because and when we die that's it...we just die. That is incredibly sad. I put my faith and trust I'm God because I choose to believe there is more to our lives than what the world has to offer. God bless everyone who is reading this and I pray that you will be open to the love and power of our almighty God :)

Trendy or not trendy, these are the hymns I remember from younger days singing in the choir. When we sang we had only the piano or the organ to accompany us so if I close my eyes, I can feel 40 years younger and picture myself belting out these songs in praise of my saviour. It makes me happy and it turns my thoughts to Jesus - so it doesn't matter how 'trendy' it is.

It helps me to concentrate on God and shuts out the world and the devil who is always ready to annoy you with suggestions that will take your mind off our God. I got into this New Age cult and it made my life a living hell. I threw away all my crystals and other pagan stuff. Now I'm praying for God's mercy and forgiveness.
God surely is forgiving and I thank Him for that. I know that the path is narrow and hard to walk but I will try my best. I also know that God doesn't like people who bear no good fruit in His name. So do you know what a woman can do in order to worship God. I know a woman should know her place.
He sent His only Son Jesus Christ on the cross to die for you and through Christ you are reconciled with God. Once you made/you do repentance prayer God immediately forgives you. Tia K Inbox me for more info but a few things I'm a seminary student and i should be writing a paper on Romans but you get priority. 1) Read Romans and find a pastor or mature christian who can guide you through it particularly Romans 3 to 6. 2) Salvation has been given to you freely and without burden, you do not have to earn your place with God the only salvation is found in Christ, and I will gladly tell you about it 3) Yes the path is narrow and it can be tough but God knows you are weak which is why he came down as Christ to die for you and rose again to show he overcame he than provided Holy Spirit and scripture to be your guide. The path is tough but its a lot tougher if you think you need to 'impress' God, you are under grace not the law. 4) Don't you dare think less of yourself for being a woman. Your place is a daughter of God, people have placed restrictions because of a need to control, Christ didn't think less of the Samaritan woman and he doesn't think less of you. Worshiping God means following Christ to realize that you are created in God's image and he made you. To worship God is to give yourself to him wholly and fully, and starts with Christ. But NT does emphasise good works a lot "Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire." etc. Also bible forbids women teaching or speaking in church or using authority over man. Bible also says that the head of every man is Christ and head of every women is man. I do believe that if I'm no use to kingdom of God I will be cast down. I don't think that salvation comes by faith or grace alone.

My love for hymns cannot be replaced CCM. When I accepted the Jesus as Lord and Savior and during the fellowship I gathered only old hymns were used. Now it seems my hearing is shattered at the sound of rock and roll praise songs and those dancing to the tune on the stage of the church.
I have listened to these hymns many, many times. They are beautiful and draws me closers to my God. I enjoy them while I am doing my Devotions and meditation on God's Holy Word. amazingly beautiful. God Bless
I love this so much. Being in college can be really stressing and having spiritual music while you study is so uplifting and hopeful. I have an apartment and don't see my family a lot so I often miss them. It helps to have christian music because it reminds us of the love of God and encouraging on our day to day lives.

Thank you for uploading the 'non trendy' old hymns of yesteryear. I am wary of these happy clappy rock and roll so called hymns - they are fodder to tickle the ear of many 'modern' believers. These hymns you play (so beautifully) are quite the opposite - simple yet clean and free from 'trendy'church' .

As a relatively new believer who lived "in the world" a long time, I appreciate Christian music that meets and replaces the old garbage I used to like in a genre that I still like. The words, as long as they are glorifying God is what is important, not whether or not there is only a piano or guitar or if the accompanying back-beat is played by a hard driving drum. Different music appeals at different times, sometimes this music is what my soul needs and sometimes when I'm on the road driving by myself, I crank up David Crowder, Toby Mac or NewsBoys and sing and worship at the top of my lungs with joyful abandon. Different stokes...
They are so calming. I love them, these are hymns in the true sense of the word.

By separating genres, we assume a "higher" standard of music. Music is music. The difference is what the message in that song is, and its purpose. For instance, there could be a love song to a mother, and this song does not become "worldly" just because it is not "spiritual." Jesus said to honor your mother and father, is this not a praise to the Lord? A sign of obedience? Man are sinners, and no one is clean, so essentially, all music is "wordly," because it originated in the world. God does not want us to label. Jesus wanted everything to be simple, his messages were direct and understandable. He was perfection.

It feels ironic, How I used to listen to this hymn every night back then, for through this simple worship sound I feel the connection between me and God. I used to listen to this so much and cry for comfort. Now the prayers I had been praying for were answered, in a very unexpected ways. God truly works in silence, He's making a way when there seem to be no way. Now I'm all blessed and finally in comfort. More difficult challenges will be encountered, and will be overcomed thru Christ our Savior who strengthen me! Keep the faith no matter what. Find the light in the darkness, follow that light, and eventually you will see the door you were looking for, the end of your pain and darkness, He is the light, seek and you will see.
