When you are performing beside a Showbiz Giant like Regine, it is very easy to get intimidated. But Morissette knows what she can offer on the table. She wants to sing and put up a good show for the audience to see. She gives more than what is asked of her. That is why, apart from being a Cebuana (bisaya ni bai!), I support her because like Regine, she performs because that makes her happy.
Regine on the other hand, has always been stellar. She is an epitome of singing with emotion. She doesnt have to be technical with her runs and all she has to do and let her audience hear her angelic voice. She is like a wine that ages so beautifully. She is a star and no wonder, she still amazes everybody even until now.
What I love about this video is that even if the two singers come from different generations, they are performing as if they are equals and they don't have to put off an underwhelming performance just to let someone shine brighter. Morissette did not fail to give her very best like she always does, as well as RVA. And what even makes it more amazing is that you can't feel any competition between them because they know there isn't a competition at the first place. They know they are two different people with unique capabilities and in this performance, they tried their best to complement with each other.
It was so satisfying!

anybody who worked with Regine knows how supportive and down to earth she is. Regine is the only Diva who never behaves like a Diva, and she always welcome new talents with open arms, because she knows how difficult it is to start in this kind of business.

When it comes to music reactions, MGN/Ovela is second to none. He is brutally honest on his analysis of the singers and the setup. Too often, I see reactors being overtly nice to Filipino videos because they are afraid to piss off Filipino viewers.
Ovela, he will say if this singer or that singer isn’t bringing his/her best at that specific video. How often do we see Ovela critical of Motissette’s lows but we all know how much he holds Morissette in the highest regard.

Good observation. Mori has just come back from vocal rest after being sick for a while. Whereas Regine had a full schedule these holidays so she had little time to rest. But the good thing with Regine is that she is enjoying because she has not done so many collaborations like these in a long while until she switched networks. As for Mori, welcome back!

2nd upload. Np. Just another reason to watch the reaction again with the Queen & the Princess. Maybe no one has noticed it but you can see how much Morissette is fangirling when Regine is singing. She isn’t even hiding her joy performing next to the Queen.
On the other side, one can see Regine’s expression of pride when Morissette finished her opening song. Regine, as many iconic Filipino singers, has said Morissette is the real deal for such a young age. That said, Morissette has to have a career of 30+ years to be on the same level of Regine. But she has the talent to get there.

Ovela about Regine's make up, she does her make up for the longest time. No make up artist has touched her face ever since she learned to do make up. Even in magazine photoshoots and commercials, album cover, shows, concerts, all events, she does her own make up. :)

i love Mori and she is really good, but when Regine sings my jaw really drops and i get goosebumps. at her age she still sings beautifully and her voice is still as powerful as before in spite of the acid reflux. Mori on the other hand is showing fatigue in her voice this early in her career. if she wont take good care of her voice, she might not last long in the industry.
