    I own the TWS1 Pro and I'm glad you brought up the weak magnets. No other reviewer was talking about them so I thought my pair was defective. Also Earfun worked with Edifier on the Earfun Air Pro.

    I bought the NB2 Pros, didn’t sound good at first, but I played around with the placement and I found the right spot and what a difference. I still prefer the Bose Quiet, but they are bigger. Edifier is cheaper and more stylish. Bose has better sound quality and stay in my ears better.

    Wonderful video, you are one of the few reviewers that I consider high quality on YT, and can pack in so much information in such a short time. Also, I am considering getting either the Cambridge Audio Melomania Touch or the Creative Outlier V3, but other reviewers have highlighted the connection problems with them, have you experienced these yet? Also, if you were to make a new video, would the Earfun Air Pro 3 or Sony Wf-C700 make it on your list?

    • @insidetechltd
      @insidetechltd  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you!
      I would honestly avoid the Outlier V3 at this point. The Melomania Touch sound great though! There are some connection issues with the app, an ageing bluetooth spec and also that you can only use the master earbud on its own. But other good features could still justify them for the price.
      Earfun Air Pro 3 would certainly be considered for a new video - there are a couple from them that could be their best. I haven't tested the new C700 yet but they would certainly be tested as well. They still seem very feature-light like the C500 though so i'm not sure how well they would compare, but we'll see

    I just got the Edifier x5 (not mentioned in the video) which are a huge improvement over the x3 which sounds similar to the Tws1 pro which had too much treble and not enough bass. The x5 has excellent bass and balanced treble, better than the JBL tunes 220tws which costs $100 compared to the x5 which cost only $30. Just imagine the quality of edifier in just a few years.

    Edifier NB2 Pro or Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro?
    My objectives are Sound Quality and Calls :)

    • @insidetechltd
      @insidetechltd  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'd say the Air 2 Pro have a slight edge, but probably not enough to justify the price difference. Edifier would win for value for money, which is a bigger difference than the sound and call quality difference

      I've chosen Liberty 2 Pro - I thought that music will be the best from TWS to about 150 $, but I think that something has been changed in this model, because i do not feel that clarity and instrument separation as many reviewers talked about. Instead, i do not have any noise in the background, any hiss - i think is these fields have something in common.
      The new version of Liberty 2 Pro is available (upgraded Version) with LDAC instead aptX - I hope that you have plan to check them out :)

    Thanks for the in-depth video! I’m an iPhone user and I want to get a pair of some really good earbuds. Have been considering NeoBuds Pro (not mentioned in your video), but found out that the major selling point of them is LHDC and LDAC codecs support, which aren’t a thing on iOS, so now I don’t think I’m getting them… Which pair of buds would you recommend for the best sound quality on iPhone that won’t cost a fortune? Im leaning towards the 1 PRO. But still wondering if there's a remarkable difference in noise cancelation between the 1 PRO and the NB2. You said in the video the NB2 is better but is it worth the battery difference...

    • @insidetechltd
      @insidetechltd  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Honestly…it depends on how much value you place on the extra battery life. Are you really going to be listening for 12 hours straight? Because if not, the 7 hours the NB2 give you could be good enough (plus you’d have ANC). Lots of people would value 7 hours of better quality listening over 12 hours not as good. I think it’s more important to think about other factors like the sound signature differences though - they sound very different from each other!

      @@insidetechltd I just got my NB2 PRO delivered a couple hours ago. I chose them based on your excellent review. The ANC makes a noticeable difference compared to wearing my old Haylou GT1. I think Earfun is a rebranding company. Take this:
    1. Their Earfun Free Pro 2 is exactly the same variant of FIIL T2 Pro. Fiil is a manufacturing company (FIIL products)
    2. Their Earfun AIR Pro is exactly the same as the Edifier TWS NB2 PRO. Edifier has been in the audio manufacturing business than most in this comment section have ever lived. Earfun is a new kid in the block who made loud flashes in the hifi audio community because of their earbuds' offering.
    Having said all that, it's logically consistent to state that Earfun is a rebranding company because it did not manufacture their own products. I must say Earfun is good at TWEAKING these rebranded products to their business advantages.

    • @insidetechltd
      @insidetechltd  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I should clarify that since publishing this video i've learned that the two companies worked together to make the earbuds. Rebranding is very common for true wireless earbuds, but I don't actually think that's happened in this instance. It is Edifier's design though

    I’m looking for a pair of buds for use with my tv which doesn’t have Bluetooth but I have a Bluetooth transmitter connected to it. All the reviews talk about how they work with iPhone or Android. Will they work with a Bluetooth transmitter? Has anyone tried this?

    • @insidetechltd
      @insidetechltd  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The reason reviews focus on phones is because earbuds are designed to work with them specifically - and it also means you can basically test any iPhone and any Android phone and then expect the same experience for others. With BT transmitters, each one is different in its performance, so it's a lot harder to give a review for (without testing each one). Whether you get any lag/connection issues is as much about the transmitter you use as it is the earbuds, unfortunately.
      So I can't guarantee that they'll work well i'm afraid. I can only say to give it a try and see!

    Two companies do not have to be part of a larger company to share parts.
    These days even cars of completely different companies share parts. They are essentially built and/or assembled in the same facilities which reduces costs, both for manufacturing and designing. Its like companies hire 3rd party designers to do their job, knowing they are not buying exclusive designs but an "oem" almost design for cheaper. And it shows poor quality in my opinion. This is what happened here. There is no way they just happened to design the same thing independently.

      Others have since pointed out that Edifier designed the EarFun earbuds as well, it says so inside the case!

      Probably 330NB because I like how they fit, but both are good for different reasons!
