Hey Picky, thanks so much for the reviews. They are highly appreciated especially by people like me who are outside the USA. Quick question: regarding call quality, which one do you think has the best performance? I've seen your video about 100 times and I haven't been able to decide... thanks for your help!!
Edifier Tws 1pro here. Almost 2 years with them. Outstanding audio and battery for that price. The best affordable sooo far for music but not for gaming because latency. 100% recommend!
Just picked the TWS1 Pro for only $35. It's literally the best $35 I have ever spent. The sound quality is top-notch for something at this price range. The only bad thing I could think of is the case, which looks a bit cheap imo.
@@david-arthur8166 Yeah still solid after months of usage. But some quick precautions here, they're tiny earbuds so they're extremely slippery if not taken out carefully and the case doesn't indicate the battery life well enough (just some flashy light and that's it). I still recommend it.
I picked up a pair of tws 1 pro's after being impressed with their s3000 pro bookshelf speakers, just 50 bucks and the battery life is impressive, I can play them all day at work and without ear fatigue. They're not the loudest but they are impressive, especially for just 50 dollars. I will be buying another pair of their higher end ear buds soon.
Another awesome review. The most detailed and thorough out there, as always! I can only relate to the NB2 versus the Neobuds and you're dead on. I picked up my Neobuds yesterday! I personally think these should be sold for $100, but probably will later. First adopters have to pay the price. :-) The NB2 Pro didn't work at all for me due to the size, lack of control customization and un-EQ-able sound. The Neobuds fix all that and work much better, being smaller, though would you believe, not one of the 7 sets of tips gave me a good seal and consistent retention. Not one! My small foam tips didn't work either for some odd reason, probably insertion depth, though the mediums were better. Doesn't fit in the case though. :-( I actually get a better fit if the stems point horizontally forwards!! As usual, my SoundPEATS T2 silicone tips worked best. Something about their shape. I might try Spinfits next. I have so many unusable tips it's ridiculous. ANC is truly awesome. Low noise mode introduces a background rumble though, which I don't like. I just use high ANC all the time. Having no audible ANC hiss like the T2 is fantastic at this price point. The touch controls didn't work initially for me as Edifier says the sensor area is at the top edge of the stem. Didn't work. However, I have no trouble at all when touching at the middle of the stem with a slow touch speed. I wish the controls were the same as SoundPEATS though. I still prefer the SoundPEATS H1 for overall clarity and deep bass, and it has a couple clicks more volume. But it's really really close with the Neobuds, after my EQ adjustments on the app's Sound tuRning page. LMAO. I'm hoping LDAC will take away that difference as the improvement with Aptx HD over SBC is noticeable to me. Gamesky, I think, said LDAC is a Qtr 1 2022 release though. Best of all, the stems are so short on the Neobuds that I can still wear my Soundcore Q30 over the Neobuds for incredible noise reduction for mowing! :-) Keep up the good work!
I love these same brand showdowns you make Picky. Very informative and fun to watch as well. Nicely done 👏👍👍🙂 Would love it if in the future you could add sound samples into your comparisons. That would be perfect 👌👌
BATMAN says: BATMAN had the same reconnection issues with the edifier tws1pro but as BATMAN is smart, managed to find a way to fix it; Before you take it from the case, take the right bud out 1st but halfway out the case, wait till the blue leds light up indicating connected, take the it out fully, then the left bud last, works every single time for BATMAN!😇
Keep doing this. I saw a video casually the other day where your wife supports your work. Cheers and props to that. I see other reviewers plenty of them with different review form factors. Yours is one of the best. Simple, practical comparative and conclusive. I own amongs many others the Edifier 1pro. Hey Picky Audio..... I just got the ldac update for the neobuds pro. I feel sound got even cleaner and brighter and honestly in my opinion these are best sounding earbyds I've owned.... I found the Spinfit 360 tip (large) on my left Neobuds didn't allow the bud to make contact in the case. Swapped them over with same result. Something about the left side only. I added a small pad of 4 layers of painter's tape in the case lid above each stem to push both buds down. The lid spring force is high enough to fully close. Now I have no issues
I found the Spinfit tips slightly increased the bass in my Neobuds. Probably a better seal. Had to tweak it down a little in the EQ. Did accentuate very high frequency sounds though in ANC mode. Addressed my comfort and retention issues nicely, which is an acceptable compromise.

I'm waiting for a version of the Neo Buds Pro with wireless charging, proximity sensors, and bluetooth 5.2 with ADAPTIVE APTX, otherwise for the moment I don't see any added value compared to my Earfun Air Pro or even Edifier Nb2 Pro. Ah also an application that works without requesting access to data and location, I do not see the relationship between my data and the sound produced by earbuds 🤷🏽♂️.
@@pickyaudio I believe that is an Android limitation, the BLUETOOTH_SCAN permission requests location access because you could theoretically derive a phones location based on Bluetooth beacons around it. Hey! Yea I use a galaxy s10e which has LDAC. The a50 should have LDAC. You do have to activate LDAC on the NEOBUDS in the app. You can look up how to double check this by adding developer settings to your phone which allows you the check the codec of the device you’re using

Good reviews sir 👍🏼
Hi.how about this model hecate gx7?
In depth review as usual. I am glad that you made the comparison among the Edifiers. I was unsure whether to go for the nb2 pro or neobuds pro.
But I heard Sennheiser is releasing the CX plus with ANC and transparency. I wonder how it would stack up against neobuds pro.
Thanks! That would be an interesting comparison for sure 🙌
Nice review, ever think of reviewing the Panasonic or Technics buds?
Thanks! If they reach out for sure
Is there ambient sound mode? (neobuds pro)

How about the w240TN?
