Just moved into a remodeled home and this is the model of dishwasher. I did one load and I felt like it took forever. Thank you for showing us this manual because I did not get one. And after reading this and seeing this video I’m not in a hurry to replace it now.

Great! Thank you for showing the heat dry/high temp option selector. It's clear now that the 'high temp' light is burned out on my washer but likely still works if I hit the selector 3x. Thanks again!

The reason these new dishwashers run so long, is due to a mandatory energy standard that was set and for instance Whirlpool and other brands like GE have to meet those requirements, which means less fills and more time with the amount of fills the dishwasher is set to have. And always remember that these machines will pre rinse for you, so don’t totally clean the dishes beforehand. And if you have a lot of soiled dishes, use pre wash as well as main. I have an older Whirlpool and 2009 Maytag, and they are some beasts when it comes to nasty dishes, my Whirlpool branded one (as they own Maytag) was the first energy star model from the corporation & the cycles are quick, normal is an hour tops and heavy is an extra half hour tops, the pots and pans is about two hours. These new machines will run for several hours because they are restricted on the amount of fills that they are allowed to have, and they still meet optimal results. And always clean your filters at the bottom if you don’t have a built in food chopper!!! This model in the video has a manual filter that needs cleaning here and there or you’ll start receiving poor cleaning results.

Hi Kathy M, I just had the same model dishwasher installed in my apartment but I didn't get a User Manual. I've tried twice to use the 4hr delay start (to save energy by washing in the middle of the night) and the dishwasher didn't start, either time. Could you please do a segment explaining how to properly use the delay start button? Thank you so much. P.S. I cannot locate the User Manual online for the model I have.

I really don't get why dishwasher manufacturers build them to take so long. It's the same with today's Washing Machines. Really long cycles.

I have it set to dry and high Heat and they are still wet and so is the washer . So what we are just supposed to towel dry the washer each time to?
