I really don't know what to do, I want to start a go fund me but I'm to scared to. I don't want to be selfish or to be judged, so asking for money is a really scary thing for me. I have really bad self harm scars on my left arm that cover the whole circumstance so even when my arms are down the scars are very visible. My scars hold me back in life and make it hard for me to get a job, go in public and socialise as people judge me and want to avoid me. I have been working hard to improve myself and heal myself both fiscally and mentally but being visually scared stops my from progressing further. Managed to raise some money but failed to meet the target. A friend started a gofundme and it's been very difficult to raise funds. The advice and tips given are great but I feel they apply to those with larger audiences and supporters

Ricardo Renfroe I have developed several ways to provide enrichment for the youth in my area. We currently have a high school in which less than 50% of the students graduate and there is a very high rate of violence. I’d like to provide the older youth with a mentor. For the younger children in working on an after school program where they can learn extra material (arts, music, science, etc.) or get help in school subjects. Many of these youth do not have adequate support at home and the only way to improve the education and lessen the violence is to provide them with a better support system.

I got so demoralised with it as I started a go fund me a while ago for my dad as he lost all of his life savings due to getting an auto immune disease which knocked him down for 2 years.. I have never seen my dad so down in my life... I wanted to surprise him with even just a few grand if i could manage it but it got no donations so i shut it down after 3 weeks. I then seen that some thot had asked for 8 grand to buy car and she got 25 grand in a week!

Dont you have any pride, self worth, to say that you'll take care of your own affairs? For as long as I can remember I have been looking around the community and trying to find ways that I could make it better. I wanted to find a way to give back to people who did have as much I did.
After observing the community for many years, I have developed various ways to contribute to the community.
I have developed an idea for a non-profit that can fit the current needs of the community and won’t be limited to providing just one form of assistance. It will be an all-encompassing initiative to help as many people as possible. We will be offering enrichment in various ways including (but not limited to): providing mentoring and other academic/life support to the youth and provide assistance in restoring the local environment.

Ricardo Renfroe I have developed several ways to provide enrichment for the youth in my area. We currently have a high school in which less than 50% of the students graduate and there is a very high rate of violence. I’d like to provide the older youth with a mentor. For the younger children in working on an after school program where they can learn extra material (arts, music, science, etc.) or get help in school subjects. Many of these youth do not have adequate support at home and the only way to improve the education and lessen the violence is to provide them with a better support system.

I got so demoralised with it as I started a go fund me a while ago for my dad as he lost all of his life savings due to getting an auto immune disease which knocked him down for 2 years.. I have never seen my dad so down in my life... I wanted to surprise him with even just a few grand if i could manage it but it got no donations so i shut it down after 3 weeks. I then seen that some thot had asked for 8 grand to buy car and she got 25 grand in a week!
