so that thing you smashed open is a Ground loop isolator. it reduces interference and make for a cleaner image. isn't required but is good practice to leave them in.

ratchet951......if you’re changing from petrol to diesel then de-looming is the ONLY proper way to do it. There should be zero signs whatsoever that a petrol engine was ever in there, problem is Pug won’t listen and will continue to cobble the unusable wiring already in there.
