Hello dear friend first of all. I would like to say thank- you so much for taking your time to give us some advices concerning our hair journey.just would like to let you know you are absolutely right with everything you had said.i had included coffee and coconut oil in my regimen and so amazing how long is my hair feels each time that I applied them my brows a tiny bit longer overnight. Thank- you again and God bless you.♡
Hello my dear friend. Wow! I am so delighted you gave it a try and it is working for you! You have made my day! Thank you for taking the time to comment and let others know. It means a lot to me and I’m very grateful. Thank you my friend. God bless you too! Have a wonderful day. 😊🙏❤️🤗
I’m sorry to hear that. However, we need to remember that, unfortunately, not everything will work for everyone. Also, remember these things can take time. One month is not long enough to decide whether or not something is working. It depends on the cause of the problem and the severity. Sometimes you have to use things for at least 3-6 months to see a difference. It’s frustrating, I know, but patience is necessary. Don’t give up! I recommend you try an oil with rosemary in it. One with both rosemary and fenugreek or brahmi will be even better. Here’s a recipe you can try: th-cam.com/video/9p9LOAa6S60/w-d-xo.htmlsi=_vO5c-WbuhNFLiNn If you don’t have brahmi, you can use fenugreek instead, or even both. I’m here if you have any questions. Good luck! 😊❤️
You can go a step further and make rosemary oil using pumpkinseed oil and rosemary, and then using this system to make coffee oil with that. You can also add some coconut oil to it. Rosemary and pumpkinseed oil are known to prevent or slow hairloss as per research.
Yes, absolutely! I love rosemary and pumpkin seed oil. They are some of my absolute favourites! I mixed the coffee oil with rosemary and other ingredients when I made a hair growth oil a while ago. Next time I’ll definitely add in the pumpkin seed oil. It’s getting harder and harder to get readymade pumpkin seed oil, so I make my own these days. So I need to make a batch. Thank you for your wonderful input! 😊❤️
You can use the white coffee cloth if you have it. Anything that’s finely woven will work. I used the end of a pair of tights/stocking. A wig cap also works, or a nut bag.
Thank you for the video. I'm watching from Bristol UK. I love the fact there is no loud annoying, overpowering music in your video and no acting up for the camera. I love making homemade hair and body products and so I use a selection of oils. I will def try this one. I subscribed to your channel last month. Keep up the good work.👍🏿👍🏿 Love your voice. Its very soothing.
Hello Katz. 😊 Thank you so much for such a wonderful comment my lovely. That’s amazing feedback and I’m so humbled. 😊❤️ It’s a huge compliment and you’ve really made my day! I’m thrilled to hear you love making your own products too and I’m so happy you’ve seen something you want to try. Thank you for subscribing to my channel. It means a lot to me. Have a wonderful weekend. 😊❤️
@Probity100 hello my lovely ‘Garden of England’ resident! Kent is so stunning. 😀 Thank you so much for your sweet, kind words. I really appreciate it! It’s exactly the kind of feedback that motivates and inspires me. I’m so glad you enjoyed the video. Thank you! Have a wonderful day my lovely. 😊❤️❤️❤️
@@LifestyleUnlocked hello yes Kent is stunningly beautiful. I am able to grow all the herbs i need for my oil portions. Thank you for taking the time to make these videos.
just want to thank you from the deepest of my heart because what you tough is not just how to make coffee oil, also how to do ANY oil extract of a very easy (during one day.. not just let it rest for a month like other videos) and friendly way because doesn't damage the bioactives ! thank you
Wow, thank you so much for your amazing feedback! I am so delighted that the video was helpful to you. You are amazing and I’m grateful that you watched my video and took the time to comment. I really appreciate that and I appreciate you! Thank you so much my dear. 😊😊😊❤️❤️❤️
@@browneyezhines8030 im sorry to hear that. I haven't tried and been consistent with anything lately but I was hoping this would be the answer. One of my sides in the front is bald like a baby and I'm so sick of wearing wigs.
Thank you for sharing! I will have to give this a try a few ways..., One using a coffee filter, Two using a Chessecloth, and last using a Cotton cloth to see whichone will give me a better resort with less coffee grains.
Been losing hair since I was 13, apparently I was vitamin D deficient and I only barely found out at 18 lol. I need to jumpstart my hair growth so I’m gonna use this coffee oil along with derma stamping and improving my lifestyle.
I’m sorry to hear that, but I’m glad you’ve discovered the reason. You’ve got a good plan in place. You could try adding some dried rosemary leaves to the coffee for an extra boost, and using an oil like pumpkin seed oil would make it even more effective. Best of luck with your hair journey, and if you need any help that I can offer, I’ll be here. 😊♥️
Hi Lola. 😊 Adding peppermint drops in it is a fantastic idea. Thank you so much for watching and for your wonderful feedback! I really appreciate it. 😊🙏
First of all your video is extremely informative and you have a very soothing voice. My question is can a person combine this coffee oil with rosemary oil together in the same container then apply to the scalp. thank you
Wow, thank you so much. 😊 I really appreciate that and I’m so delighted you found the video informative. Yes, absolutely! You can mix this oil with rosemary oil before you apply it to your scalp. I often add it to my diy scalp oil mixtures. 😊❤️
Hi Ceejane. Thank you so much for your kind words! I really appreciate you visiting my channel and for taking the time to comment. I’m so glad you found the video informative. I’ve got loads more in store, so that made me so delighted! 😊 Thank you again. ❤️
Thank you so much Nabbosa my dear. I really appreciate that! I hope it works for you. If it doesn’t, there are other options you can try, so don’t hesitate to reach out to me. 😊❤️
Hello Patience. Thank you so much, my lovely. I really appreciate that. If you’re using it as a prepoo or hot oil treatment, you can use it as often as you wash your hair. If you leave it in, then 2-3 times a week is more than enough. However, it’s safe enough to use daily as a scalp oil. Personally I use it as a scalp oil. I apply it to the scalp, massage the scalp for a few minutes, and I don’t wash it out until it’s my wash day. I feel that allows it to work more quickly and more effectively. You can either use it on its own, or you can add it to an oil blend, like I did in the video in this link: th-cam.com/video/joYcCqIp-nM/w-d-xo.html If you have any other questions, I’ll be right here waiting my dear. Thank you again. Have a lovely weekend. 😊❤️
Hi Husna. No, unfortunately it won’t work. If you don’t want to warm the ingredients together like I did in the video, you can put the coffee in a heat-resistant jar, warm the oil separately, then pour the warm oil into the jar with coffee, mix well, close the jar tightly and leave it to infuse for at least a week. The longer you leave it the better it will be. 😊
Thank you so much. 😊 Definitely give this a try. I love coffee oil. You can use it on its own, or you can mix it into a diy growth oil, like I did in this video: th-cam.com/video/joYcCqIp-nM/w-d-xo.html Let me know how you get on, or if you have any questions. 😊❤️

Hi there from South Africa. First time seeing your channeland i will definitley come back for more. I'm so glad you're helping us on how to make a coffee oil. I'm really interested in incorparating it in my skincare formulations. What do you think of infusing it in evening primrose oil or jojoba oil to make a eyelash serum.
Hello Ruanda! 😀 I’m so delighted to have you here! Thank you so much for joining me all the way from South Africa! That’s amazing! Thank you also for your lovely words. I really appreciate it. I think infusing coffee in evening primrose oil or jojoba oil is a great idea. Both oils are great for the skin and eyelashes, and adding caffeine can boost the growth of eyelashes. All three ingredients are used in some of the best commercial eyelash serums. I would maybe try it on a few eyelashes first to make sure you don’t have any adverse effects. If your eyes tolerate it well, then you’re good to go! Thanks again for tuning in. I look forward to linking up with you again. Have a wonderful week my dear. 😊❤️

Hey GG. You’re very welcome and thank YOU!.Oh yes, it’s absolutely fine. They will come out easily when you wash your hair. It’s not a problem at all. Hope you’re having a lovely weekend. 😊❤️
New subbie as well! I was intrigued by coffee oil and you gave all the information I was seeking for! Love those DYI’s conctions’s especially during this pandemic. Question: how does this compare to indian oils/powder (Amla,Henna, etc.)? They are cleary not the same, but will I see faster changes to my hair (growth, stronger, etc.) ? I’d like to improve my hair in the next 6 months👍🏾
Hello my lovely and welcome to the family! I’m thrilled you’re here. Thank you so much for subscribing! I really appreciate it. 😊🙏 When it comes to growth in general, and the treatment of things like male pattern balding, the results are comparable, especially with Amla which, like coffee, has powerful DHT blockers. Fenugreek appears to only slow down the rate at which DHT attaches itself to the hair follicles, not stop it. They can all increase the rate at which hair grows and also make hair stronger (but in different ways). Fenugreek, for example, has a lot of protein so it is like a protein treatment if used as a mask. When it comes to increasing hair density, fenugreek seems to take the lead. It helps to thicken hair. Henna is more of a strengthener. It doesn’t necessarily stimulate growth. So it would be your substitute for a protein treatment. Where coffee has advantage over the powders is that it’s suitable for all hair types and is safe to use daily. With the powders, it’s advisable to limit them to 2-3 times a week. Fenugreek, for example, should really be limited on low porosity hair, to prevent protein overload. The wonderful thing about coffee and the powders is that they all mix well with other ingredients. So you could actually combine them or use them all at different times in your regimen. I personally add coffee oil to a lot of my oil blends, to simply things, like I did in this video: th-cam.com/video/joYcCqIp-nM/w-d-xo.html So, if you haven’t already done so, establish a routine you can stick to with regular deep conditioning, drink plenty of water, healthy diet and all, and definitely try these beautiful oils, and your hair will definitely thrive. 😊 I hope that answers your questions. Feel free to ask more questions. Thanks again. I hope you enjoy the videos! 😊🙏❤️
Hello Helen. Any ground coffee will do, but the finer the blend, the more potent the coffee oil will be. So yes, Espresso will give you the most potent coffee oil. 😊
Hi Lynda. Yes, absolutely. However, with the Avocado oil, I recommend you add that towards the end so that the nutrients in the Avocado oil are still preserved. Enjoy! 😊
I’m a new subscriber and this is an extremely thorough explanation. I really enjoyed this! Furthermore, I love to make coffee oil- it smells amazing and it helps to slow with my shedding. I’ve made it with coconut oil but as fall/winter approaches I will switch the oil. It works well with fractionated coconut oil or MCT oil as well. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us! 💖🌺🌹
Hi & welcome Leah! 😀 I’m over the moon you’ve subscribed! Thank you for the amazing feedback. That means a lot to me. Thank you also for sharing how you’ve made yours. I love to learn from others. Hi Sam, have you ever tried the coffee leave in spray/mist or clove mist? I've seen it on other channels but would like to know if you have any tutorials on such? Much appreciated!
I tried a coffee leave-in spray/mist but my hair didn’t like it. It left my very dry. For my hair, coffee works better in an oil. I’ve not tried the clove spray. I use cloves with other things but I’ve not tried the clove spray on its own. Cloves can promote healthy hair growth, so clove sprays and clove oils are very popular. I don’t have tutorials for either a coffee spray/mist or a clove spray/mist on my channel. If I figure out a way to make a coffee spray/mist that is not drying, I’ll definitely share a tutorial on it. Leave it with me. I’ll figure something out. 😊
Hi Angelina. 😊 Thank you for watching the video and for your question, which I’m sure others have wanted to ask. Unfortunately, yes, this will be absorbed into your blood stream. I don’t know exactly how much will be absorbed but my advice would be to avoid it and use alternatives. I can suggest the following alternatives: • Hair loss due to excessive DHT levels: fenugreek, tea tree oil, saw palmetto, etc • Hair loss not caused by excessive DHT, or just to stimulate hair growth, treat hair thinking and alopecia: rosemary, fenugreek, black seed oil, peppermint essential oil, etc I have a couple of videos you could watch to get some more info and alternatives: th-cam.com/video/3CFMp2jkRKc/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/VXNcY4VkNrc/w-d-xo.html You could also watch this video but omit adding coffee oil and use all the other ingredients: th-cam.com/video/joYcCqIp-nM/w-d-xo.html If you have a specific issue and you feel comfortable sharing, I may be able to suggest more specific things. You can comment here or send me a DM on Instagram if you prefer: instagram.com/lifestyleunlocked247 I hope that answers your question and it helps! 😊
Yes, it will darken your grey to an extent, to a dark brown colour. But you’d have to use it consistently and frequently for quite some time to see results. 😊
Hi there. You may be late, but it’s never too late! 😊 Unfortunately, yes, this can be absorbed into your system. So it’s probably best you avoid this one. Luckily, there are loads of options. Rosemary oil, clove oil and fenugreek oil are among my favourite alternatives to coffee oil. Have a look at my hair growth oils for recipes and ideas: th-cam.com/play/PLsltm0OI_MOeF3qK8QmodOVvCNu7Q1wJK.html&si=ERkzg0iAJHgrxpZh Thank you for watching and engaging. I appreciate it! @@LifestyleUnlocked This makes sense and thanks also for the video links to alternatives. I'll check them out cos I have some fenugreek at home and I can try right away. Thanks again!
Thank you so much for the feedback Angela. I really appreciate it and will take it on board in future videos. I’m glad you still liked it. That means a lot to me. Thank you! Have a great week ahead. 😊❤️
Hello Una my lovely. If you just want to use it to soften and condition your hair, then yes, you can use decaffeinated ground coffee (not instant), because it will still have the flavonoids which can help to soften the hair. However, if you want to promote growth, you will need the caffeine, so the decaffeinated coffee won’t be suitable. Either way, ground coffee works best because instant coffee doesn’t dissolve in oil and it takes forever to infuse adequately. Hope that helps my lovely. 😊❤️🥰
Hello there. Just subscribed today. I absolutely love making hair treatments and other aromatherapy treatments. I am definitely going to try this. My question is does the oil change the color of your hair? Thank you so much for the content.🙏🏾💜
Hello my lovely. 😊 Thank you so much for subscribing! I really appreciate it! I’m so excited that you’re going to try this. The oil can darken your hair if used consistently over time. So it may give lighter hair/grey hair a brown tinge over time. If your hair is dark, then it’s not a concern. I hope that helps and answers your question. Thank you again for joining the family! 😊🙏❤️
You can use pumpkin seed oil or any other oil if you want to. It is entirely up to you and it depends on what you’re going to use it for. Coffee oil has other benefits not related to the DHT blocking priorities of coffee. Some people will just want to use it to darken their hair, not use it as a DHT blocker. But, yes, if your objective is to make a potent DHT blocker, you can use pumpkin seed oil, or any other oil with DHT blocking properties. 😊
Hi Solomon. I have not done much research on beards, as my focus has always been scalp hair, but, from what I’ve read so far…whilst caffeine might stimulate blood circulation, blocking DHT, which facial hair is dependent on, will be counterproductive. So I guess it’s best not to use coffee oil on beards. Thank you for your question. It was definitely food for thought and I’ll certainly look into beard growth now. Have a great day. 😊🙏
Hi there 😊. Ground coffee will give you the most potent coffee oil. However, a good quality instant coffee is still good to use. You absolutely don’t need to go out of your way to get ground coffee if you’ve only got instant coffee in your kitchen. I’m all for convenience! Hope that helps. 😊❤️
I'm prepared this oil directly on Gas i mean to say first griddle and then a bowl and then put in coffee n oil. So I want to ask is this process making of oil useful or not? Is any side effects ?? Plz reply me 🥺
I am sure it will be absolutely fine. The most important thing is to not burn the oil. As long as you don’t burn it, you will make a very good coffee oil. There are hardly any side effects, but if you have a heart condition called palpitations, it may be wise to avoid using the oil as it can worsen the palpitations. 😊
Hey, thanks for the video, please i have here Gold coffee and Classic coffee can dey really work and won't coffee bring breakage of hair may i know please thanks
Hi Jesca. 😊 Coffee oil is not going to cause breakage. Liquid coffee spray has caused breakage in some instances. As long as you moisturise your hair effectively, it’s unlikely to be an issue. There are lots of other options, like rosemary, fenugreek or cloves. So if you have any worries that the coffee oil/spray can cause issues, then you should err on the side of caution and use the other options. Not everything works well for everyone and you should never do things you’re not sure of. Hope that helps. 😊❤️
@@jescaamuron316 it doesn’t work as well as ground coffee. But you can still infuse it over a longer period. Alternatively, dissolve it in water, add a little bit of glycerine and spray that onto your scalp 2-3 times a week. Make sure you use a good moisturising leave in conditioner and seal in the moisture with castor oil or Shea butter. 😊❤️
Hi there. It shouldn’t cause itching or tenderness at all. I’m so sorry to hear you’re experiencing that! That must be very uncomfortable. Are you using it with anything else? Do you normally have an itchy scalp? Did you make it with an oil you’ve never used on your scalp before? Or a coffee you’ve never drunk before? Did you add anything to it, like essential oils? Have you changed shampoos or you haven’t washed your hair since you started using it? If the answer is no to all those questions, then your scalp just might be sensitive to it, or you might be allergic to either the coffee or oil you used, or you’ve developed scalp inflammation or folliculitis, or other type of scalp irritation, which may not even be related to the oil. My recommendation is to always be on the safe side and therefore you should stop using it and do a scalp detox immediately. That will remove all traces of the oil from your scalp and hair and it can soothe the irritation. There are plenty of other alternative oils my dear and we just have to use ingredients our scalps will not react to. 😊
@@tiffi4968 that might do the trick! You could also use it less frequently, like 2-3 times a week, rather than daily, ensuring you give yourself a good scalp massage to encourage scalp circulation. Also make sure your scalp is not too dry by moisturising it. A very dry scalp can easily become quite irritated. I keep my scalp moisturised and refreshed with a herbal growth spray. I only need to spray it every 2-3 days. I use the spray in the morning, then apply my scalp oils in the evenings. 😊
I added a quarter cup of oil, so 60ml. It was a typo on the screen, but, to be honest, you can add any amount of oil. The more oil you add, the less concentrated it will be, and vice versa. Anyway, well spotted & thanks for asking. I hope it’s clearer for you now. 😊
@@LifestyleUnlocked awesome, thanks! It looked like it was 1/4 cup in the video but just wanted to make sure. I want to try this and I want to get it just right! 😅
I didn’t add any water to the coffee oil. If you prefer a hair growth recipe that uses water, take a look at this video: th-cam.com/video/Yf9rhpvsZjE/w-d-xo.html 😊
You can, but it won’t be as potent using that method. I’m going to do a video showing you the best way to make coffee oil with instant coffee. So you can make it, but leave it to infuse for at least 2 weeks to make it more effective. Here’s a great way to use instant coffee for your hair. You can leave out some of the ingredients if you don’t have them: th-cam.com/video/fBoQJzs0UzY/w-d-xo.html
Hi. It depends on what the condition of your hair is. Is it dry? Oily/greasy? Breaking? Healthy? Generally you need a moisturising shampoo, a moisturising deep conditioner, a leave-in conditioner and an oil for your hair and scalp. But the specific products depend on the state of your hair.
Let me get this straight: I have heard that drinking coffee increases the production of dht; but now I am to believe topical application of coffee by-products inhibits Dht? That doesn’t makes scientific sense to a lay person such as myself. Can you explain? So what is the truth?
That’s a very good question. According to what I’ve read, Coffee consumption has been suggested to potentially increase LEVELS of DHT. However, the evidence is not conclusive, and more research is needed to fully understand the relationship between coffee consumption and DHT levels. On the other hand, yes, topically applying coffee on the scalp has been suggested in some alternative medicine circles as a way to combat hair loss, with the idea being that caffeine can stimulate hair growth by blocking the EFFECTS of DHT. So it’s not reducing the levels of DHT topically. It blocks DHT activity when applied topically. Either way, more research is needed, but many people, including myself, benefitted from applying coffee oil topically. Science is not as simple and straightforward as we would like it to be. Hope that helps. You can read it up yourself and we can continue this fascinating conversation. 😊
We will see. Today I made a small batch of coffee oil. I’m going to test it on my very thin crown for at least four to six wks to see if there is any improvement. Today is 5/14/24. By the end of June, I should know one way or the other if it works. Keep you posted. Thank you.
Your hair won’t be oily if you use it as a pre-shampoo mask. Also, if you use penetrating oils, and cleanse your scalp thoroughly and regularly, it won’t clog up your pores. Penetrating oils are small enough to be absorbed. It all depends on molecular size. They are not the same as petroleum or non-penetrating oils. Besides, you should always apply a small amount. You shouldn’t drench your scalp or hair in oil. If you don’t like using oils in your hair or on your scalp, you can use coffee in other ways that are oil-free. You should always do what’s best for you. 😊
@@LifestyleUnlocked thanks for the response 🙂 do you believe that just coffee dissolved in hot water would be enough to penetrate and halt hair loss? Or is the oil necessary as something to deliver the coffee?
You’re very welcome. 😊 Yes, just coffee dissolved in water will definitely work and many people prefer to use that instead, as a coffee rinse. Just monitor your hair because coffee rinses can be a bit drying. But as long as you moisturise your hair effectively, it should be ok.
@First Last you can add essential oils. Additionally, if you use it before you shampoo and condition, the coffee scent will disappear completely afterwards.
I used instant coffee and ground it with a morter and pestle. But as soon as it hits the slightest amount of heat not even boiling water it just clumps up
Yikes! That’s a shame. I honestly think ground coffee (percolator type ground coffee, not instant) is the best to use when making coffee oil. Instant coffee is temperamental and doesn’t dissolve very well in oil, unfortunately. It dissolves to some extent, but ground coffee is ideal. It doesn’t have to be expensive. A low-priced ground coffee will still make a wonderful coffee oil. So if you can get some of that, it’ll work beautifully. 😊
I did heat coconut oil with coffee and there are tooooooo much smoke and the house became foggy and smell like poisoning i couldn't breathe so i stopped after 30 mints i couldn't continue...so any solution?
Oh no! That’s a shame. Sorry to hear that. You could use a different oil, like a vegetable oil, or olive oil. Always use the double-boiler method, like in the video, and keep the heat very, very low. If you used high heat, that may be the reason why. Alternatively, you could put the coffee and oil in a glass jar, close it tightly and warm them up slowly over low heat, in a pot of boiling water. This video shows you how to do the second method: th-cam.com/video/joYcCqIp-nM/w-d-xo.html
Yay for getting it to work! 😊 But the itch is not something I’ve experienced. I hope you didn’t get a rash as well, coz that would suggest irritation/allergy. You could mix it with some conditioner to dilute it and see how it goes? It would still be effective. But still try that combo on a small patch to make sure it doesn’t cause irritation. I wouldn’t want all of your scalp to get itchy. If you can’t use it, don’t throw it out. You could give it to someone as a gift! 😊

Hi Simone. That’s a very fair point, but coffee has much more than just caffeine. Coffee is not the same as caffeine. Coffee oil still has a lot of benefits for the hair and scalp. Coffee oil has antioxidant properties, which can help protect the hair from environmental damage and reduce scalp inflammation, which in turn promotes healthy hair growth. It also increases hair shine and moisture retention. While it doesn't contain much caffeine, the oil still offers benefits for hair health and texture. So it’s not just “brown oil”. Yes, if you want a shot of caffeine to the scalp, then a coffee spray is your best bet. 😊❤️
I LOVE me some castor oil! It is amazing. It’s just a pity that it can be a bit too heavy for people with fine hair…🥴 BUT, they can always mix it with a lighter oil to thin it down, if they decide to use it. 😊
@@Norseman311 personally I leave it on until the next time I wash my hair. It just gives it more time to work. However, many people leave it on for 30mins to an hour, or overnight, then wash it out, and have had good results with that routine. It’s whatever you’re more comfortable with. 😊
Hi Mahama. I’ve never used neem oil so I’m afraid I don’t know. You can make a very small amount using neem oil and then see how it works. If you use it, do come back and let us know. 😊
It's not working for me my sides are thinning.😥 I use it everyday for a month nothing 😥
Thanks babe
I’m sorry to hear that. However, we need to remember that, unfortunately, not everything will work for everyone. Also, remember these things can take time. One month is not long enough to decide whether or not something is working. It depends on the cause of the problem and the severity. Sometimes you have to use things for at least 3-6 months to see a difference. It’s frustrating, I know, but patience is necessary. Don’t give up!
I recommend you try an oil with rosemary in it. One with both rosemary and fenugreek or brahmi will be even better. Here’s a recipe you can try: th-cam.com/video/9p9LOAa6S60/w-d-xo.htmlsi=_vO5c-WbuhNFLiNn
If you don’t have brahmi, you can use fenugreek instead, or even both. I’m here if you have any questions. Good luck! 😊❤️
You’re very welcome my lovely. Thanks for watching and engaging! Have an awesome day.
Is that a stocking that you are using or can you use the white coffee cloth.
You can use the white coffee cloth if you have it. Anything that’s finely woven will work. I used the end of a pair of tights/stocking. A wig cap also works, or a nut bag.

Thanks for the video. I must say I love your simplicity in rendition.
Can you please highlight on the frequency and how to use?
Pleeeeeease
Hello Patience. Thank you so much, my lovely. I really appreciate that. If you’re using it as a prepoo or hot oil treatment, you can use it as often as you wash your hair. If you leave it in, then 2-3 times a week is more than enough. However, it’s safe enough to use daily as a scalp oil.
Personally I use it as a scalp oil. I apply it to the scalp, massage the scalp for a few minutes, and I don’t wash it out until it’s my wash day. I feel that allows it to work more quickly and more effectively.
You can either use it on its own, or you can add it to an oil blend, like I did in the video in this link: th-cam.com/video/joYcCqIp-nM/w-d-xo.html
If you have any other questions, I’ll be right here waiting my dear. Thank you again. Have a lovely weekend. 😊❤️
What if i don't warm it can it still be effective
This sounds great ❤️ I'm in the process of trying to get my hair healthy and long.
Thank you so much. 😊 Definitely give this a try. I love coffee oil. You can use it on its own, or you can mix it into a diy growth oil, like I did in this video: th-cam.com/video/joYcCqIp-nM/w-d-xo.html

Aww…Thank you so much my lovely! You’ve made my day! 😊❤️🤗
When it comes to growth in general, and the treatment of things like male pattern balding, the results are comparable, especially with Amla which, like coffee, has powerful DHT blockers.
I personally add coffee oil to a lot of my oil blends, to simply things, like I did in this video: th-cam.com/video/joYcCqIp-nM/w-d-xo.html
So, if you haven’t already done so, establish a routine you can stick to with regular deep conditioning, drink plenty of water, healthy diet and all, and definitely try these beautiful oils, and your hair will definitely thrive. 😊
I hope that answers your questions. Feel free to ask more questions. Thanks again. I hope you enjoy the videos! 😊🙏❤️
Hello, which ground coffee is best?? Espresso???
Hello Helen. Any ground coffee will do, but the finer the blend, the more potent the coffee oil will be. So yes, Espresso will give you the most potent coffee oil. 😊
Can i mix/heat with more than i oil. I am thinking of Avocado, grapeseed and Almond oil all together with the coffee?

Yes, my lovely, you absolutely can mix it with rosemary oil. 😊❤️
Hello thank you so much. Will this make me jittery? I do not drink coffee so not sure if this will get to my blood stream and make me jittery???
Hi Angelina. 😊 Thank you for watching the video and for your question, which I’m sure others have wanted to ask. Unfortunately, yes, this will be absorbed into your blood stream. I don’t know exactly how much will be absorbed but my advice would be to avoid it and use alternatives.
I can suggest the following alternatives:
• Hair loss due to excessive DHT levels: fenugreek, tea tree oil, saw palmetto, etc
• Hair loss not caused by excessive DHT, or just to stimulate hair growth, treat hair thinking and alopecia: rosemary, fenugreek, black seed oil, peppermint essential oil, etc

Ge Sam can I use decaffeinated coffee to make this oil?
Hello Una my lovely. If you just want to use it to soften and condition your hair, then yes, you can use decaffeinated ground coffee (not instant), because it will still have the flavonoids which can help to soften the hair.
However, if you want to promote growth, you will need the caffeine, so the decaffeinated coffee won’t be suitable. Either way, ground coffee works best because instant coffee doesn’t dissolve in oil and it takes forever to infuse adequately. Hope that helps my lovely. 😊❤️🥰
Can I add essential oils to it?
Hi there. Yes, you can add a few drops of any essential oil of your choice. 😊

Thanks for your input.
Can it be used as the skin of your body
Hey Stephanie. Yes, it can be used on the skin. Have a great weekend my lovely. 😊❤️
wouldn't be best to use pumpkin seeds oil? it's also DHT blocker
Does the fact that it's a dht blocker mean it would be bad for beard use? Since beard benefits from dht, how would caffeine affect the beard health?

Does this stain your scalp?
Hi Amjid. No, it doesn’t stain your scalp. 😊👍
Is it better to use ground coffee or instant coffee?

@@LifestyleUnlocked Ok please 🙏 but Classic and Gold coffee can work as well may I hear from you thanks

I have use this for a couple of weeks. Does it make you hair itchy and also do it kinda make your scalp a little tender?
I used Folger’s coffee and olive oil
I use it everyday. Sometimes I do use other oils with it. I’m going to wash my hair and reuse it and see
@@tiffi4968 that might do the trick! 😊
Wen a person scalp itchy 😅 thier hair growing
New subbie
Hi Samara. Thank you so much for subscribing my lovely! I really appreciate it. 😊❤️🙏
for how long if you apply it directly on hair?
You can let it sit on your hair for 30 minutes or even an hour, to get the most benefits. 😊
@@LifestyleUnlocked wow, thank you so much, will try it later
You’re very welcome. 😊
@@LifestyleUnlocked Can you leave it in for a more than 4 days? Like a leave-in then wash it out?
Yes, absolutely. You can leave it in until the next time you wash your hair, like a leave-in oil. 😊
Waaaaaaait is it 1/4 cup of oil or 125 ml of oil? (They're two different amounts)
Aww…You’re very welcome and thank you so much for giving it a try. Have a lovely day and a great weekend when it comes! 😊
How much water did u add?
I didn’t add any water to the coffee oil. If you prefer a hair growth recipe that uses water, take a look at this video: th-cam.com/video/Yf9rhpvsZjE/w-d-xo.html 😊
Can we use instant coffee instigate pure coffee?
You can, but it won’t be as potent using that method. I’m going to do a video showing you the best way to make coffee oil with instant coffee.
So you can make it, but leave it to infuse for at least 2 weeks to make it more effective.
Here’s a great way to use instant coffee for your hair. You can leave out some of the ingredients if you don’t have them: th-cam.com/video/fBoQJzs0UzY/w-d-xo.html
Wow nice
I take it any stimulant will do for hair growth. I like castor oil.
Yes, that is absolutely correct! We have options. 😊 I LOVE castor oil. It’s so good for my hair. 😍
Hollow please can you tell me all the products that I will use to apply on my natural hair, from png
Thank you.
@@SDC1949 I would appreciate that, and so would others. Thank you! 😊
Update?
But wont this make your hair oily? Also won't the oil plug up the skin pores if left in?
@@LifestyleUnlocked just one more question what could be added to not make it smell like you have a coffee spilled in your head?
@First Last you can add essential oils. Additionally, if you use it before you shampoo and condition, the coffee scent will disappear completely afterwards.
Can this work on all hair?
Hi Claudia. Yes, it can, as long as you use a penetrating oil. Thicker, non-penetrating oils don’t work for all hair, but penetrating oils do. 😊
Finally got it to work😁 but the itch is insane. Is it just me or does the stuff make your scalp super itchy as well?
Yay for getting it to work! 😊 But the itch is not something I’ve experienced. I hope you didn’t get a rash as well, coz that would suggest irritation/allergy. You could mix it with some conditioner to dilute it and see how it goes? It would still be effective. But still try that combo on a small patch to make sure it doesn’t cause irritation. I wouldn’t want all of your scalp to get itchy. If you can’t use it, don’t throw it out. You could give it to someone as a gift! 😊
@@LifestyleUnlocked maybe the scratching will help it penetrate deeper 🤣

Does it really work? Did it work for you?

Hello. 😊 I made it for my mum who has androgenetic hair loss with high levels of DHT which contributed to her hair loss. It worked wonders for her and her hair grew back. I sometimes add it to my growth oils. So yes, it works. Of course, not everything works for everyone, but there are lots of options which I share on the channel. 😊
Cool idea for using a Pantyhose!

but caffeine is only soluble in water... you are only making brown oil
I would think this with castor oil woukd be x1000
I LOVE me some castor oil! It is amazing. It’s just a pity that it can be a bit too heavy for people with fine hair…🥴 BUT, they can always mix it with a lighter oil to thin it down, if they decide to use it. 😊
@@LifestyleUnlockedhow long do you let the mixture stay on your scalp?
@@Norseman311 personally I leave it on until the next time I wash my hair. It just gives it more time to work. However, many people leave it on for 30mins to an hour, or overnight, then wash it out, and have had good results with that routine. It’s whatever you’re more comfortable with. 😊
How long does it take to expire
Hi Katana. It expires after one year. 😊❤️

Can I use neem oil
