So very cool of you to share your treasures with us. Great tips for the time of season to go and for places to shop.

The last time I had Alaskan fudge, going through the TSA at the airport was an interesting experience. Apparently, their scanners can't distinguish fudge from other brick-shaped, potentially explosive material. My backpack was pulled out of the scanner and thoroughly searched while the TSA agent explained that their scanners are hardly ever wrong. I offered to let her try a bite to prove it wasn't C4, but she declined and sent me on my way. The same thing happened to my wife a few years later when she went to Anchorage.

Oh my goodness! I know what you mean as I once had a M&M Minis tube full of quarters and pennies, this was for the penny press machines all over Disney. Well, to the scanner, it looked like a pipe bomb...

You guys bought great stuff! We went to Alaska years ago and I bought a black Alaska hoodie that's really warm and I wear it all the time here in Chicago. My husband is a photographer and he took a picture of me feeding a reindeer. Love that pic. Glad you had such a good trip.

Loved seeing what you all purchased. On my 1st Cruise to Alaska I bought a HAL Rotterdam sweatshirt and an Alaskan Totem Pole Magnet. On my 2nd Cruise I bought a winter hat that says Alaska on it. I didn't think it would be cold but we were on the 2nd to last Sail of the season. I also bought a Christmas Ornament of a Husky with Alaska printed on it

Great video Alisa. We always start with a plan not to buy too much stuff and then do exactly that every single time. Alaska is a great place to visit. We sailed there last year on Star Princess from Vancouver and followed the cruise with a land section staying at various Princess Lodges. Great that you're travelling with your kids too. They grow up so fast. We miss having them with us now that they've grown up. For us, every trip to the Northern Hemisphere includes very long flight there and back as we live in Australia. You guys should try a Pacific Islands cruise out of Sydney sometime if you can tolerate the long energy sapping flights.

I am so proud of them that they chose this cruise from several options I gave them. They love trying new things and seeing more of the world.

@@EECCTravels Alisa, you should be proud of your twins. Lovely affectionate well mannered boys. By the way, we have a US Marine base in our Northern Territory I think somewhere near Darwin. They cycle the garrison every now and then. Your Marine son might get the chance to travel down under at some point.

I've been to Ontario, BC, and all the areas of Eastern Canada. Y'all should do A Canada/New England cruise. Mine left from Montreal and ended in Boston. One thing I've noticed in Canada is that they're willing to tell you how much whatever you buy is in American dollars. Don't be afraid to ask the cashier that.

I've always gone to Alaska in late August or early September. And we got pretty good deals on shopping then. But I can only imagine how good the sales were the last sailing of the season. Will your next Cruise Vlog be for the Celestyal Cruise

I'm not criticizing. Different strokes for different folks. I don't get the shopping though. It's my worst hated chore. Shopping. 🤣 I know I'm in the minority though. Loved the Alaska vlogs. I'm booked on the ncl encore for 2021.
