i still dont feel like final cut is worth it. If youre going to pay $300 for an app get davinci. There is no point to spend hundreds on plugins when youve already bought a "pro" app. This is not to hate because to be honest I am more efficient in FCPX I love the layout and how well it handles videos and what you can do to stay organized with your projects. But for when I want to do more complex tasks, spending a little bit of time working with Fusion makes all the difference. and it completely eliminates any need for keyframing masks 🤮. thats why I cant bring myself back to fcpx. There just isnt enough built in to justify it. (like I said this is no hate on your tutorial or channel)
Thanks for your comment Andrew. If someone is just getting started with editing I would probably feel the same way. If you're new and going to spend the money anyone, Davinci Resolve might be the better choice. For me personally, already being an FCP for over 10 years means I am so invested in the app from a workflow perspective and I can get things done far faster in FCP (even if I need the support of other plugins or apps from time to time). I guess it also depends on the kind of work you do. If you do a lot of masking and you need some more advanced tools that Fusion offers, then DVR is a no-brainer. If you're cranking out videos that don't require a lot of complex tasks then I don't think it gets faster than FCP. Appreciate you taking the time to watch and to comment 😄👍🏼
Those scenes are way too low of contrast for it to be tracked. Why don’t you show us a real time? Clip of you putting it together. It’ll probably take five hours, but you should show us.
Hi Brad, do you take on video editing work? I have some holiday footage from Iceland with lots of drone footage and I really would like to use mtracker 3d elements in it but I am not a video editor and I probably won't be able to make use of them even if I bought all the plug-ins. I'd be happy to discuss the details if you are interested. Thanks.

so i cant figure out what im diong wrong here cause i'm doing what you are in the video, i add mtracker to the clip click "track" than add mtracker text and paste tack info to it than i press the little button in the middle to position the 3 arrow tracker thing than done. The text proceeds to not follow anything.
Is the shot quite a stable shot? If so, you might want to change the Movement setting in the mTracker 3 plugin on the clip from “Free” to “Tripod”. Let me know if this solves it for you?

Are you talking about the clips in the intro? They were all tracked using mTracker 3D in the same way I showed in the tutorial.
