Aye, Kicker and Fosgate is old school. I remember them in the 90s. At my high school in 1998 a dude use to roll up in a Isuzu Rodeo with two 12 inch kickers subs that made our class room windows shake. He use to pick up one of the hottest girls in our school that he was dating (of course). From the street he was driving on to our classrooms was a good 50 meters and he made our old windows vibrate just a little bit even if we were sitting on the 3rd floor! He use to bang that Mobb Deep Hell on Earth album hard and me and my buds use to get excited to hear him because we were all into car audio and had the latest test Crutchfield magazines in our school bags. Anyway later on we found out his system and Dayton wire wheels got stolen. That being said, amps were made way better back in the day. It was all USA made. If I had to build a system now I would use all Orion HCCA. Orion competition amps and speakers were at the top in the 90s and they are the best now. I really miss the 90s though... Seems like everyone had a nice system with hard hitting bass and the music was much better. Edit: added more details
Such a blessing to see you get your car done because you deserve a Bentley and a Lamborghini or anything else you need from God you work so hard for everyone else now it's your time
First off, I like how you show the installation of the different products. This video inspired me man. Got an '83 Hurst Cutlass and I just been discouraged about it b/c I've been taking hit after hit in life, bills and with family . It seems like everytime I'm gonna be able to work on my car or get a part for it, something happens. I was just about to give up until you posted this video showing the differ parts and saying how you've had them for a while like a year or so that you pretty much collected. I was in the dumps about this b/c I'm use to buying and ordering whatever whenever I need until family life started. So now like I maybe get 1 or 2 parts a month and sometimes I can't get any. That's why I try to get alot of donor parts ( whatever people give me.) But lately, it's been slim to none in that area too!! When that money situation change, it really does alter everything and I sure as hell don't have much of it!! But thanks man for the video and the inspiration b/c I really wanna get it done b/c my 11yr daughter is in to cars like her daddy and she's helping me build this one. Like me, u truly have a passion for the car game and a craft that's on another level bruh, for real. Been in the car game for many years so, I know it when I see it This maybe a long shot but, if you or anyone you may know wanna donate ANY PARTS, Let me know and I'll pay for any shipping costs. Keep up the great content and I'mma always support you for sho. You gotta fan and a subscriber for life right here. 💯
If you use those older amps send them out to get the internals freshened up. Guys that made those amps back in the day are still around and as a side hobby fix and repair old car amplifiers.
That looks real good for being from here. They’re all either completely restored or terribly rotted out. Even the bubble caprices have holes in the floor here.
U gave me the confidence to try an spray I did my son car went cheap on the paint an sprayed metallic with a 1.3 gun its textured af will wet sand hep bro ?
@@hobbytechtv7007 If it's clear over base you wet sand then cut & polish. If it's single stage (pour & spray) you might not want to cut & polish (if you try go slow and test a spot first) but you can still wet sand most orange peel out, go all the way up to 3000 then wax. But with single stage paint wait at least a month before touching the paint or you'll make it worse.
Those amps bring me back. Only thing I have left from my old school days is a big purple US Amps comp beast. Only bad thing about that steering wheel is that it's going to block those beautiful gauges.
Kind of excited to see you doing a bunch more stuff outside of paint. Tons of great stuff there, its going to be one of the best handling Caprice's I've seen.
Oh my gosh dude! That is Christmas there for sure! You put together a really awesome set of components. That ride is first class all the way. That grill? Are you kidding me? WOW!
