Andy, i think sometimes people are in denial. Seem people with amps that have pcb amp take it personally, maybe they actually know that you are right. I purchased few myself, i like the sound of Mess mrk v, but i had no understanding before how amps are build. You are passionate dude man, much respect for that. Dont let negative people bring you down.

When something electrically shorts this causes a 15:25 surge increase of amperage which until the fuse or circuit breaker opens the circuit you have almost unlimited amount of current until the current limiting stops the flow of electrons.
Fuses and circuit breakers have a rating as to the amount of time it takes then to open the circuit, typically in number of cycles- so if it in a 60 cycle circuits aka 60 hz if it rated for it to take 20 cycles that means 1/3 of a second before the current stops flowing so that means if the components and wires, traces etc are sized to the minimum they will fail quicker.

Word of advice: Don't interact with the trolls. They feed on you getting angry and watching that. You just have to learn to ignore those people.

@@lederman1976 Dude, it's a skill like anything else. It's clear that you know your s#$t and that your reasoning is sound. These things you're talking about aren't magic, they're all measurable and the logic behind them isn't all that complex. So, listening and arguing with ignorant people is pointless and counterproductive. It's actually a waste of time. You're a great educator and you should stick to that.
