BACK TO BASICS - Caravan Pre-travel checks

This video is designed to help those in preparation for their own caravan adventures by running you through everything we do to prepare our caravan for travel.
We found it to be quite overwhelming in the beginning, all the things that you need to think about when you first take off, so we hope this video helps those in that situation.

Good advice there team. I got interrupted by a guy when putting up the corner stays & the front left one only got wound up a little bit. It looked a bit different after that. 😂

As always enjoy your content. Last time we packed up I let my husband do inside God bless his cotton socks ❤❤, big mistake TV anntenna not down, toilet door not latched lucky we were only 15 minutes down the road still bathroom door moved and almost fell off. No way do I want his help anymore he just sticks to outside.
Hahahaha yes we have our roles and stick to them, i miss things inside and clem misses things outside. We know enough to do it if wr have to but we stick to our jobs
And don't forget to check Vehicle & Caravan lights are working before setting off, plus clean the rear lights of any dust, dirt & mud.
Yes absolutely, we definitely missed this as we don’t do it every time but it should of definitely been included in this. Thanks
I did to forget the checking of Wheel Nuts especially on Alloy Wheels. Cheers we really enjoyed your Vid & tips.
Yeh we do wheel nuts and stuff weekly which will hopefully be next vid
We have similar procedure for packing up, only you forgot to do the checking of the lights on the caravan before you left to ensure indicators etc are working!! We also have walkie talkies to communicate when reversing the car back to hook up, saves someone not hearing something important!!
Yeh your right we didnt do that.
We do it pretty often but not every time, same with wheel nuts and tyre pressures, it’s regular but not always.
We used to use walkie talkies or even the phone on hands free but we just use hand signals now.
We use mobile phones to communicate while backing in; subject to coverage!
We used to aswell, we still do sometimes when reversing the caravan
Great vid team always good to have a reminder for all the bits and bobs. About to head off on our 2nd long trip - 6mths this time! Would love a vid talking through how you deal with rubbish, recycling & your scraps bin if you get a chance! 🚐
