- This is another installment of my Capitol Studios performance on the Pre-Order DVD.. and a song called 'Spell' which was featured on an episode of Smallville.
This may be one of my favorite songs on my album... and the recording on the CD has these incredible strings on it which I can't wait for you to all hear.
In the meantime, here's my performance of the song from the Capitol Sessions.. As you can tell, it was one looong day...lol.. I think we did about 14 or 15 songs all in that one day !!

My girlfriend and I first stumbled across this song while watching Smallville. We danced to this song at our wedding and just celebrated our 16th anniversary. There's just something magical about it.

found this song because of smallville. one of the most saddest scenes from smallville imo and i fell in love w/ the song. it set the mood for that scene. s7e07. had to come here and show my support to the artist. has some a beautfiul voice.

Beautiful song. And no over-production or voice synthesizers. Just a woman with a beautiful voice and the skill to play piano well. That's how music should be.

mine too, i found her over 15 months ago - but this truly is perfect song writing. I really cant fault it. I wish i could go back to the first time i watched it late at night and feel the same bitter sweet purity of having my heart broken 1000 times. It's a shame i've had to come here through a tv show.. but i'm so glad i discovered a new piece of a wonderful music-made-rainbow. Strucks cords, memories, silently almost without noticing. It pulls a curtain off a scenery i never thought i had seen before. I guess we've all wanted this moment where even though made of broken pieces, we put up something that shines in the darkest moments, something that will last forever in our loved ones, even if it's just a moment.. just a song, just words..

The other day I was coming home from a state competition on a bus with two other teams, getting tired of my team I made my way to the back and sat with a woman who didn't look like anything special at the time, then we started talking to each other and she enchanted me, we spent over an hour talking about literature and poetry alone. before my eyes she transformed from a shy girl from that team to the most amazing woman I've ever met. After we parted all I could think was I hope i see her again.
