So glad John Jarratt is in this and that they didn't get someone else to play Mick Taylor for the TV version.
I met John Jarratt at Supanova Brisbane 2014 and he asked me if I was a big fan of Wolf Creek, and since I am (a HUGE fan) of course I said yes, I then asked if there was going to be a 3rd one anytime soon, but all he replied with was.. "Not necessarily a MOVIE", then he started to laugh.... Well, here we are. :) So pumped!!!
I know this is an old post but I gotta ask. Did he do the infamous mick Taylor laugh or a normal laugh?!

From the pilot to the spoiler at the series end this series was surreal, I hope American Wolf Creek fans see the series totally uncut and non Americanized when it's shown in the United States. There are no words to describe how well done this Australian series was the actors, plot, location and post production were brilliant.
And that is way i cancelled my road trip from Sydney to Perth..

I actually finished watching the last 3 ep.last night.The series was very good in my thought.Well constructed twists turns.Very good.Even put forth to go back and show history of why Mick is how he is.
Wonderful, gripping piece of tv, that i thoroughly enjoyed, and I recommend to everyone. All the elements of the wolf creek movies are there, mixed with a little true detective season 1, and an awesome revenge story. Plus Lucy Fry, who id never heard of before this, is heartbreakingly beautiful and a talent actress ill be looking out for in future movies/tv.
I watched all 12 eps of the 2 seasons available and every scene from start to finish is great and unique. I can imagine mick shooting down a low flying plane and having fun at wolf Creek Crater.
After just finishing season 2...am i the only one cheering mick on, every time he kills someone...and rooting for him. the guy has to be one of if not the best villian ever. the most sadistic bastard, you will ever meet...yet the guy is super smart..and cunning...
Finished the whole thing in one day. Loved it!!!

One of the best movies n series out, beats everything from the UK. I just went to watch the og movie last week as i remember it being good when i watched it and discovered their was a second one and watched it and loved it. Did not disappoint at all and then i discovered the tv series which ive startef watching tonight and its now 3.37 am and im going to watch the fourth episode of the season.
This film is fantastic such a refresh from american films/series, this for me but Australia on the map for film making. I feel in Europe their isn't much exposure to it and if more people knew about it it would be a hit here in uk and Europe.

Was able to see the advanced screening at Supanova Gold Coast 2016, was pretty good, can not wait to see how the series/story develops and folds out from here.

I never thought I would say this but that actually looks good...really good. I never liked the films because there was no engine driving it, no plot other than "crazed killer who acts like a comedian kills tourists..they die..the end". Not about someone actually trying to hunt him down (and the fact that its a blonde woman is even better as they are usually depicted as damsels in distress).
Looks pretty good. It pisses me off that the Americans think the outback is like this but ... no one knows what actually happened to this people or the truth .. its all a guessing game.

I watched the original Wolf Creek and Wolf Creek 2 and thought both films were great. I'm watching the first film again tonight on the Horror Channel, can't believe how this channel rates films, they've given it only 2 stars, what's wrong with them? The amount of crap that I've recorded on this channel because they've given it a good rating and when there's a genuinely great film that deserves a good rating it gets 2. I'm looking forward to seeing Wolf Creek the series.
There is the end of what was a promising franchise. A better sequel is not a TV show but a movie about a manhunt for Mick Taylor after the survivor of the second film tells police where his place is located and it would start off w/ police trying to navigate pass the traps in his maze of a dungeon.

1. Both survivors of the first and second film had total mental breakdowns.
2. The series is actuay good. It leaves a lot of freedom for the writers. Mick is a serial killer who's been around killing for about 10 years. We can watch the independent crimes of his, rather than follow the story in a straight line.
3. A third movie is on the way.
Women are funny. Every time you watch a movie of a woman changing herself after something tragic. They always lop off their hair lol. I don't know. Maybe it's just me, but I find that rather hysterical. Like picturing a guy getting so upset that he starts waxing his legs, and starts screaming.
