I just hope with Martin Anselmi that we can start to build to be a better team but this year really showed I think how poor this team is quality wise. The one fantastic signing we made this season was Samu, and last year we got Nico definitely could be a world class midfielder in the future but the rest of the team is poor and that was down to years of corruption and negligence by the old board. Tells you everything when Villas Boas came in with just 8,000 euros in the club accounts. Sergio was literally feeding off scraps from the past and we got excited this summer with Perez, Samu Moura and players like that but truly this squad is poor. In reality while we did win league titles in past few years, I would say for the past 8,9 years or so we’ve had the third best team in Portugal squad wise. Sporting and Benfica had the better squads by country mile over Porto. We relied on the brilliance of Sergio to win us things, not relying on squad quality. The chickens have come home to roost this season because Sergio left and the squad is still poor. You look at Benfica beating juve this week truly is that really a surprise? You look at the players they have Kerem, kokcu, Aursnes, Carreras, Luis they have some fantastic, fantastic truly I think if they really got it together they have the talent to do something in European competitions because they’re squad is European level quality. Same with Sporting Gyokeres Hjulmand Quenda, Goncalves. Sporting’s team is European level quality. Our squad is Portuguese league quality and that is down to negligence from the past which is a real shame Anyways keep up the great work and keep up the videos excited to see your next stuff!
