@@FatJesusHangry I have figured it out, brother. Check display not Graphics. I've tried everything (fast sync, vsync, limit fps, etc) and i'm still getting tearing on a 60hz monitor, what can be the cause?, GTX 1650 4GB GDDR6. FPS never drops below 30.
From what I've seen the in game Vsync take care of the tearing try it without any fps lock and disable any vsync you add from nvidia panel , if that doesn't work use Nvidia panel and enable half refresh rate vsync , that should lock the fps at 30 and it will remove the tearing problems , just don't forget to disable the in-game vsync to avoid interference with nvidia vsync options.
I played this on ultra 1440p and it ran perfectly fine at 100fps. But I put it down to original as the game was crashing randomly and I saw no difference in the visual quality. Great optimization.
You should know: I always search for your videos to be able to play with better performance and nice graphics. Thanks for your work! Question: enabling FSR2 on God of War just changes the image quality but is not improving performance. What can I do??
Great video, man 👌🏼 I have the problem of using an AMD 8 gb GPU, and arrived here for some assistance in optimization. Alas I also noted the problem with the GPU on this game. Still the tips are spot on and shedded some light on this issue. I hope they patch the game for AMD Radeon users
If you're still strugling follow these settings 1080p, Low preset, 50% render scale Unless your pc is from ancient egypt, you should get playable fps Low doesn't look bad at all, heck it looks better than 2015 games on ultra
Great video man. I have a gtx 1080 ti card and I will try out these settings in 4k. I do want to use ultra on shadows though because I think it looks much better.
@@benchmarking4386 there are some BIG differences tho in some places the ultra vs high the ultra will give you alot more but not everywhere but it is beatiful when you see it
Hi there... I just got the game on Steam and made a test run with everything on ultra. My PC is an AMD R9 + RTX3070 + 32GB RAM. A few days ago I had to replace my old monitor with a 32" FHD TV... but games still look great. Somehow though it looks like the rendering in God of War is low-res... why is that when everything is on ultra and ultra+? As mentioned I just made a fast test run and just set everything to ultra. It runs perfectly, but the rendering looks low-res.
Check your render resolution in the menu , the game by default doesn't support Fullscreen mode it just uses Borderless instead so it picks the desktop/windows resolution as the rendering resolution ( if your desktop is running at 1080p the game will render at 1080p) , so make sure your desktop resolution is native , and check DLSS or FSR maybe they are enable with low mode like performance
