Nice one Ed - I think that weld will hold - looks pretty decent to me. I love that approach of the small drill press table as a portable welding fixture. I bet you find that weld on the purchased item isn't very deep and you can recover those sprockets. You probably won't be able to compete on the price in actuality - maybe but it's difficult when you factor in your time as well as the material which is already close - but hugely satisfying to recover the parts and frankly make a better product. That means a lot.
