Check out our new home in Fort Lee, Virginia. We are so excited to have arrived after our cross country PCS move. This base housing is run by Hunt Military Housing. The home we have is the Marigold floor plan and is for the rank band E1-E6. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out. I'll help any way I can.

Cute and helpful video! How have you guys liked living there so far? Likes and dislikes? We are headed there this next coming year and I have never been on the east coast before so I have no idea what to expect (I've heard so little about it when I've asked the people I know personally who have been there🤔😂) thank you for helping us !

I am from VA but the southern part, I actually meet my hubby in AIT in ft. Lee we are pcs to ft bliss right now actually! I love this home so traditional and the floors are awesome.i just subbed and I am a fellow army wife I'd love if we could support each other!

@@lizlorette8976 no sorry I don't, but just off the top of my head the sights in am familiar with are in southern VA. I grew up in the 7 cities and that is about 2 hours from FT Lee. I'd suggest Bush gardens theme park and colonial Williamsburg
I am in Fort Bliss right now and we pcs to Fort Lee in Nov. I was hoping to find a single home there like here.
Hey! Are you planning on living on post or off? I believe there are a few single homes on post, but they are hard to come by. If you reach out to the housing office they should be able to let you know which houses you qualify for and if you can get a single home 💕
@@lizlorette8976 If there are single homes on post, we would love to go with that. We are currently in off-post housing but the gates are open to the public which has caused a lot of issues as far as random people driving up and taking stuff. But if off-post housing is closed to public, we might go with that.
I wish I could see you and your daughter I live here in fort Lee Virginia but I’m not going to get my hopes up to high! (Plus I’m 9)
Can you go past your neighbors fence if you install your own? Like can you make it your own size?

Hey hun! I am getting ready to PCS to Ft. Lee shortly too with my hubby. He’s an E-7 so would we have different houses? How much is the rent ? Sorry if it’s too many intrusive questions you don’t have to answer
Hey love! Not intrusive at all. Because he is an E-7 you guys will live in a different neighborhood. I believe they have nicer finishes on the houses in the neighborhoods you qualify for. I think you guys will also get a two car automatic garage instead of the single car manual garage we have. (Sooooo jealous!!! lol) When you live in base housing, your rent will be equal to whatever your BAH amount is. Search Fort Lee Family Housing and you'll find the website for the housing office. On there, you can put in his rank and how many dependents he has, and it will show you the houses you qualify for. 💕
How is fort lee? My relative is going to be stationed there. I wanted to know how you feel about the area.
Hi! So sorry for the delay in response. We love Lee so far. We’ve been here almost a year. We haven’t had the chance to do ALL the things we wanted because of COVID, but we like the area in general and the proximity to sports and entertainment.
Hi how do you like the housing? My family and I are PCS’ing there in January. My husband is an E6
I really like the housing so far. We haven’t had any issues. Maintenance has been quick to respond when we need anything. The only thing I would complain about is we constantly have spiders in the house and I have no clue how to get rid of them, but I do have housing spray for bugs every month. If you have your eye on a certain neighborhood or floor plan don’t be afraid to ask for it. They worked to get us the floorplan we wanted, our move in date was just a little later.

Did you have to get on a waiting list for housing to become available?
Hey there! We were on a waitlist. This was actually the first PCS that we had to spend our entire 10 days in the hotel because we were waiting on a home. I’m not sure if that’s just how Fort Lee is or if it was because of the PCS delays due to COVID.

How many pets are allowed in the military house ? Please I need know that
So, it depends on the housing company you are living under. Each housing company has a different set of rules. Usually, it's a maximum of 2 or 3 pets. Your best bet is to give your new housing office a call :)
