Yeah. Maybe we can push those last few seasons under the rug. I've seen the entire series prolly 4 or so times. But those seasons just did not hold up. Still great though. And the last episode was phenomenal. I hated when Pam & Jim started to have "marital issues" & that whole thing with the cameraman was just kinda stupid.
To Toby: why are you the way that you are Honestly ever time I try to do something fun or exciting you make it not...that...way. I hate so much about the thing that you choose to be.
Internet Explorer a little to late for that don't you think INTERNET EXPLORER. (Jokes you aren't late I just wanted to make that joke cause internet explorer being slow and all)
Michael Scott is such a deep role, such a complicated character. He's almost ireparably damaged but NOT so damaged that it can hurt how good person he is. Top moment the intro where he tries to ride Oscar's bicycle. And there it is. Little Michael Scott who never learnt to ride cause his mother was too overprotective. And this little Michael needed the chanting for moral support. "Michael, Michael!". And thus the insecure look at the camera. Or Jim. Steve Carell NAILED this role. And that's what made Ricky Gervais miserable (who is great by the way but he actually plays himself :D )
Indeed he did! It is just some of the inaccuracies of the long story lines. In this episode he is supposed to bring his old bike as a new christmas gift. Isn't it the one you're reffering to? With the Asian-American girls?
Toby -"so apparently you called Oscar'faggy'...for liking Shakespeare and love more than the action movie. " Michael- " yeah but the action movie was die hard." Toby "I..I know Michael, but Oscar's really gay." Michael "Hah, I know"
Steve Carell is amazing. There aren't many actors as versatile as he is. I love it when comedians break out of their funny roles, take on more serious ones, and nail them. Sandra Bullock does this well too.
Steve Carell is a special actor. I am a HUGE fan of Ricky Gervais and the original Office but I honestly find the US version to be superior. This is largely in part due to how Steve (after about the first 5 episodes) helped the US version turn into its own beast of a sitcom. Steve is the first person that comes to mind when I think "The Office" and again this comes from someone who is a die hard Ricky Gervais fan. We love you Steve!
The office holds a very special place in all of our hearts. I cry every time on the very last episode when Michael is revealed to be Dwights best man. All of those people, john, jenna, Steve, rain... will always be Jim, Pam, Michael and Dwight no matter what role they play. That show was so perfectly created, honestly if Netflix ever takes it off idk what I'd do, I plan on being able to sit down with my family in the future and sit down and watch the office together and laugh together and cry together. Cause that's what the office is about. Bringing people together and I don't think any show in the world can do what the office has done for us ❤️❤️❤️
Steve should have won an emmy for the office. I hope he gets an oscar at some pont. He is such a great actor and hilarious. He is probably my favorite current actor.
A very underrated role he played was doc in a movie called last flag flying. It’s about a man who loses his marine son and him and his former army friends go on a trip to go retrieve his body. Bryan Cranston is also in it.
Steve Carell is truly awesome! I want to see him win an Oscar someday! Such talent! Plus Michael Scott has to be one of my top fav characters of all time!
I know the movie came out after this video, but I throughly enjoyed Carell’s performance in Beautiful Boy. I think that was the best serious role he’s portrayed in my opinion.
Lieutenant Nomad It was still interesting to watch and there are some really great moments after, but yeah I know what you mean. Season 7 was the ending to me.
So happy Michael scot was number 1 definitely his best role and I can't even count the amount of times I cried with laughter over that show! Great top 10!
I never knew he had played so many serious rolls, that's ace ! I'm so happy with the top 2 40 year old Vergin is so funny, and The Office is a show that inspired me very much to take media.
I used to think I was a Steve Carell fan but as much as I used to watch SNL and as much as I thought I loved him enough to know his characters and appearances I had no clue he was Gary. I absolutely loved those cartoons.
No disrespect to Michael Scott (i am too a big fan of the show), but Steve's portrayal of Mark Baum in The Big Short is his best performance so far in his career. He plays a very convincing middle-age crisis, "had enough of this shit" working man. Should've been nominated an Oscar too alongside Bale btw.
The fact that he had never won an Emmy for The office is a disgrace.
At least he won a golden globe for it.

Who else thinks michael scott and the office is the best show ever created?
Personally it is my favorite sit com ever, but Breaking Bad is my favorite show ever. BB is number 1 and The Office is number 2.
Ricky Lozano mine too!!
YES!!!!!
Watched the whole nine seasons 8 times over in something like 2 years, sue me..
Yes i agree
The Office is the greatest comedy show in the history of television, period. It is to the comedy world as Breaking Bad is to the drama world.
Do you even Scrubs?
It's as close to perfect as sitcoms will get IMO.
Thats Seinfeld, but The Office is nothing short of hilarious as well
The chappelle show
Woah, no Threat Level Midnight?! That was his best work. Joke of a list.

GREATEST SHOW EVER
1. I didn't know Gru had a first name.
2. Gru should have been way higher than 9.
It's only a voice acting role
+CMVT still a performance
yeah but these are people who are more into adult movies
@@jwdrake04 minions suck the office is the best thing ever
Whenever I see Steve Carrell in something that isn't the office, to me it just seems like Michael Scott is playing the role. World's Best Boss.

Love Steve Carell. Something about him...just seems like a real genuine down to earth dude.
Every time I watch Steve Carell in something I'm always like "That's Michael Scott..."

Phoebe Gumm Thats what I love him for.
Phoebe Gumm I wonder if you'd see him as Michael in The Big Short.
Half-Life Scientist Or the foxcatcher

Every time I see Steve in a movie or something I still see Micael Scott. Oh how much I miss the office :( Great memories

I'm just glad Carell got his Oscar nomination. I knew he was going to win, but he's such an under-appreciated actor (0-for-9 at Emmy's)
Steve should have won an emmy for the office. I hope he gets an oscar at some pont. He is such a great actor and hilarious. He is probably my favorite current actor.
#1 is so true! He was amazing in The Office! Love that series
A very underrated role he played was doc in a movie called last flag flying. It’s about a man who loses his marine son and him and his former army friends go on a trip to go retrieve his body. Bryan Cranston is also in it.
I love Steve Carell no performance of his is a bad one.
Steve Carell is truly awesome! I want to see him win an Oscar someday! Such talent! Plus Michael Scott has to be one of my top fav characters of all time!
Scott. No doubt about this. Absolutely fell in love with The Office and one of the main reasons is Michael freakin’ Scott ;D
The Office, Little Miss Sunshine, and Foxcatcher
His performance in Seeking a Friend for the End of the World was remarkable and deserves to be in the top 5.
Such a great talent. Always enjoy his movies
After Jim Carrey the only good comedian actor is Steve Carrell. They both have good perfomances in different kind of movies

Steve Carrel is a genius. He's brilliant in both comedy and drama, on the small screen and the big screen.

Suffice it to say, Steve Carell is one of the funniest guys out there!
Shoutout to The Office for #1 best show of all time!
I couldn't take Steve seriously in Foxcatcher at first. But then his performance is really good. It made me kinda afraid of that du Pont character.
Agree, his character was so creepy and haunting
The Office is the best comedy show I have every watched. I'm so sad that it ended!
Carell was amazing in 'Foxcatcher.' He had John du Pont down to an absolute science.
Yes, he was amazing in the U.S. office definitely his best role
I thought that his role in seeking a friend for the end of the world should have been in there
Man that movie fucked me up.
He's so brillant! He's a great actor that everyone loves!
The Office was a great show. Until season 8 of course.
Lieutenant Nomad It was still interesting to watch and there are some really great moments after, but yeah I know what you mean. Season 7 was the ending to me.
Lieutenant Nomad Nappa:....................I get it!
Nah, season 8 and 9 are still awesome!!!
Juan Amaya I feel you...
Season 8 sucks but 9 was better. Especially when Dwight was manager! He was the most qualified
So happy Michael scot was number 1 definitely his best role and I can't even count the amount of times I cried with laughter over that show!

Little miss sunshine was such a good movie.
Michael Scott was such a hilarious character, and I don't think anyone could've done it better than Steve Carell!

WHERE IS MICHAEL SCOTT?
Foxcatcher is definitely his best performance. So brilliantly subtle.
brick tamland is my favorite, but i think i need to see "the office"
Have you seen already?
He is a fantastic actor. He was also great in the big short as well.
I watched Way Way Back because Steve was in it, but I really hated his character. He was so damn mean to the boy.
One of Hollywood's most dedicated and best comedyfilm actors
I watched this whole thing waiting for the office to be number 1
I liked him in Date Night, but I LOVED him in Get Smart.
I think #1 should have been Date Mike

Carell is one of my favourite American actors :) He can do no wrong. Great list guys!!!
Foxcatcher was an awesome character study. Bennet Miller's directing and the great acting made it.
Michael Scarn from Threat Level Midnight should have gotten a honourable mention.
Steve Carell as Michael Scott is the best thing ever I was so mad when he left the show it honestly got a little worse
I used to think I was a Steve Carell fan but as much as I used to watch SNL and as much as I thought I loved him enough to know his characters and appearances I had no clue he was Gary. I absolutely loved those cartoons.

Michael Scott is the best.

That's what she said!
My favorite actor! (The office is life, I hope they bring it back somehow)
I think Foxcatcher it's his best performance, but it's only my opinion, I respect other opinions.
