I add a cuppa soup pack to the noodles, bulks up the noodles and the soup takes up no space.

I get those Heinz packets. They are real nice. And I use noodle packets.

Love your work Pete. I use the Carman's brand protein bars with the Coconut,Yoghurt and Roasted Nuts being my favorite. 5 bar pack about $7.50 which is good value. I also use the Ally brand Pink Salmon on Ritz Cracked Pepper biscuits or mix it into a rice cup/ satchel. Kabana cut up and mixed in with rice goes good to. To help keep things cool I freeze some of the Zooper Dooper Ice blocks &/or Hydralite ice blocks. Drink them cool and melted.

We also like to take fresh ingredients like eggs, potatoes, onions, garlic, vacuum sealed meat for the first night, then also baked beans, tomato based sauces in packets, flatbread etc as we enjoy a good cooked meal rather than instant ones. The tuna and beans containers are good for on the go. Watch our videos to see how we prepare food while we travel.

I find they are a lot tastier than the other options!

Good idea for a video Pete, especially with the cost of living.
I only have one of those Back Country meals in my panniers when I go camping only for backup. They do cost a lot of money.
I do like your idea of the Heinz meals, I never thought of those.
I am going to use my Jaffle Iron this summer. The bread can be a couple of days old and it won't matter. You can throw anything into them and cook on an open fire or gas burner.
