- Join us at the white pine planetarium. Named in 1962 by my uncle butch, on the night he counted over 2,000 stars in the sky.
A lot has changed since then, but one thing still remains the same, the stars still touch the pines!

It felt surreal. Last night I was experiencing insomnia, so I turned on the TV and opened TH-cam in order to see some Bob Ross video and try to relax myself. As soon as the app loaded, I saw in front of me the thumbnail of some random youtuber asking me if I was having trouble to get to sleep. I felt interpellated, so I clicked on the video and watched it. What a wonderful and relaxing experience. The music, the camera work, the light, your narration, everything creates a cozy atmosphere. You really did an amazing job, so I must thank you for helping me get some rest. You have earned a new subscriber!

Yes! When I'm having an "insomnia moment", I just put these on and after about 20 minutes out I go! They fill me with the wholesome feeling I used to get camping my little Midwestern grandmas, or playing late night Nintendo with my cousins. Such a treasure

I can't explain how happy these videos make me. I can't even put my finger on it. It's something like nostalgia mixed with comfort and simplicity. It's just a sense of "things are going to be OK, buddy." And it makes me feel good. Thanks for making these. I think they're helping me heal.
They're like a reminder that complication isn't a requirement in life. There's a general feel of positivity that permeates all of these videos and that creates the feeling of comfort and simplicity you mention. For me, these act as a reminder that you don't need a lot to find contentment in life, you just need to be willing to be content with what you have and try to find the value in the simple joys that surround you.

His content is a reminder that happiness isn't something you buy. It comes from being content with less, not getting more. When I discovered his stuff a few months back, it was the exact message I desperately needed to hear.

It messes me up to knowing everyone I will ever love will be dead eventually, including me , and we will all eventually be forgotten forever. Or the thought of what happens after we die. Or also the fact that any moment anybody could die and we never know when it will happen.

This video feels genre breaking, TH-cam wise. I couldn't quite categorize it but it's honestly SO refreshing to watch. I feel so relaxed. It's aesthetically pleasing, in a "comfy and safe at home with family or a family friend" kind of way. I miss feelings like these.

There's nothing quite like a U.P. sky eh? I went to college at NMU and a lot of weekends we would go out to Lakenenland away from the light pollution of Marquette and just sit and stare in awe at the crystal clear night sky in pitch black. Those were some of the best nights of my life. Thanks for sharing buddy!
