- A Halloween Special
Please, sit back, relax, and enjoy yourself. As I make my Jack O Lantern Stuffed Peppers - inspired by Stingy Jack. A man that outsmarted the Devil, not once, but twice. Served beside a classic Halloween punch.
Pumpkin Peppers 🎃
Ingredients:
⁃ orange bell peppers
⁃ 1 lb ground beef
⁃ 2 cans Diced Tomatoes w/ Green Chilies
⁃ 1 can black beans, drained
⁃ 2 C cooked rice
⁃ 2 C shredded pepper jack cheese
Directions:
⁃ Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
⁃ Brown beef.
⁃ Add the tomatoes, black beans, and cooked rice. Simmer 5-10 min.
⁃ Stir in cheese.
⁃ Cut tops off peppers, set aside. Remove insides.
⁃ Using a paring knife, carve a face into each pepper.
⁃ Set peppers in baking dish and fill each with mixture. Sprinkle with more cheese and place the pepper top back on.
⁃ Bake for 10-15 min.
Classic Halloween Punch 👻
Ingredients:
⁃ 2 liter of Lemon Lime pop, cold
⁃ 12 oz pineapple juice
⁃ 2 qt orange sherbet
Directions:
⁃ Pour the cold lemon lime pop into a punch bowl
⁃ Add pineapple juice
⁃ Place sherbet into punch one scoop at a time
4 more mins maybe

I miss being a kid man, I’m just starting to get into my adult life, and I am already searching every day for some peace and quiet. Your videos make me so nostalgic. When you are a kid, you are in such a hurry to grow up, and you are always told by your parents to enjoy being a kid. I really wish I listened and cherished that time more. Halloween is just one of those nostalgic holidays that will forever make me wish I was a kid again. The curiosity and the stories we used to come up with. The trick or treating. The little school event that they would put on every year for Halloween, and all the kids would dress up. Like you said in one of your previous videos. We all are like leaves. We grow, season, and later on, our winter comes as well, just as it does for the leaves. If anyone took the time to read this. I hope all is well, get some rest.

Nostalgic - bittersweet - never realized that your work often references mortality - longing for the ephemeral
I can't explain the nostalgia that comes out of this. Growing up in Upstate NY, it reminds me of when Summer has ended and Fall is beginning. When Halloween is right around the corner. Just like there is a special nostolgia to those in the South on a long lighted summer evening full of BBQ, playing cards and enjoying some cold beer; up here, a short day cut early by quick falling darkness on a crisp fall evening in the North Eastcoast has a unique mystical feeling of comfort and coziness.

I think the reason your videos are so comforting, is because at one point in most children’s lives, they have woken up middle of the night and can’t fall back asleep while at the grandparents house. You sneak downstairs, and grandma would see you, smile and say “can’t sleep eh?”. You’d nod, and she’d get you a yummy snack, usually something homemade like a slice of cake or pie, and while you snacked on it, she’d tell you a soft voiced calming story. When you finished, she’d tuck you back into bed, gently speaking to you, staking your back or hair, until you fell asleep. This reminds us of that
