Brilliant, thank you so much for sharing your skills, love all your vlogs. Great tips about the wool codes & stitch markers (im using a paper clip) i started practicing the granny square this weekend and even got my 9yr old wanting to learn too, i have found it alot easier to do since buying a better quality and thicker yarn than i had been using. Love all crafts but crochet is my new favourite, its so relaxing and really good for someone with anxiety. ❤

Hello my lovely. 👋👋. You are so welcome. I love sharing what I do. 🥰. I’m no expert and I self teach myself. But I love to share and explain in how I would want to learn. Doesn’t work for everyone but even if it helps a little make me happy. X. 😄. And that your 9 year old wanting to give the craft a go brings me so much joy as many people think crochet is for the older person but it’s not it takes a lot of patience, time and skill in doing crocheting. Once you’ve learnt the basics of crocheting and you want to learn more it’s a whole new chapter of I’ve been crocheting for quite a few years now but only learnt how to follow in the last few years a go. So I’m still learning every day with new stitches. 😳. Using a thicker wool and a bigger helps big Tim as you can then see what you’re doing and the results are a little quicker lol. X.
Thank for sharing your new Bobbie and look forward in what else you make. X. I do have a face book page feel free to put up what you are making just put it under in a comment if you want to put a photo as I would love to see 🥰🥰🥰.
      Happy crocheting x x take care 🥰🥰🥰

Beautiful. How long have you been crocheting? No machine can crochet. I'm loving your craft videos. My mother and I watch yourself, JP, travel trolls and mazzy x. You're all sound and bubbly people. I look forward to more of your videos (Sammie) as I absolutely loveeee to crochet. Clare.

Hello Clare 👋👋. I learnt when I was about 8 years old that was only how to do the stitch. I could follow a pattern or remember the name of the stitches. It wasn’t until I was in my mid 40’s that I had to have an op and the wonders of TH-cam I learnt how to understand a pattern and the stitches names. Once I’d learnt how to crochet again that was it there was no stopping me lol. X. 🥰🥰. I love so many crafts and always learning new ones. X x thank you for your kind comment and happy crafting x x x x 🥰🥰🥰

Hello Sammy , I went to the beauticians today, she had little circular packs of home crochet pads of five cotton face pads, guess these are also washable, but I thought a good idea to try , they are very fine of course. Love the colours of wool you have there. Crumbs I remember those nappy pins, we had loads when our boys were babies and wore terry towelling nappies, you never really see them today do you. Hehe.

Hello Karen 👋👋. Yes I’ve seen the little pads too x. Was thinking of making some just need to find out what sort of yarn is used to make them. But thank you for sharing I’ll have a little look into making these x x x
Yes I remember the nappies too mum use to have a washing line full of them all bright and white don’t know how she did it getting them so clean x x x no you don’t see them. I remember being taught how to fold them lol. X x x thank you for your kind comment. X x x🥰🥰🥰

@@SammiesWhichCrafts yes when our boys wore them Sammie , we used to have a nappy bucket which had a sanitiser in it, you used to clean the nappy as best you could them pop them into the bucket in the solution with water and wash them once a day on a boil wash , I must admit I always managed to keep them really white as well, when the boys outgrew them , they then became good window cloths , however some of the older ones had gone a bit thin hehe. But yes you would walk along the road and see all the nappies blowing in the wind in most gardens. Hehe
I wondered myself what the face pads were crotchet with . I was going to ask you.
I wondered if it was the embroidery cotton .
I also will try and find out when I go in again . I am due again next week before going away , I know Jess has a lady make them for the shop and cosmetic bags etc .
We will see what we can do between us . I know Jess really well so she will not mind me asking I m sure. They are very soft . As a little package she also make hair ties with some packs for the lucky ones with long hair hehe. I can’t seem to grow mine . After a lot of cancer treatment some years ago my hair never came back the same sadly , never mind I am a lucky one and still here. Not as good as I would like to be but I am here, that is to be grateful for .
Ah well we may getting you making and selling the pads if your lucky hehe . The crotchet hook would be very fine wouldn’t it . Ah well maybe between us we may get an answer .
Take care ,stay safe, all of you
      Thanks for sharing .

@@SammiesWhichCrafts your most welcome , your both a real pleasure to listen to and watch . Enjoy you both very much . I sent Jess a message last night so she may have an answer by the time I see her . Will of course let you know either way . I feel after feeling them it could be embroidery cotton . But that’s just me guessing . Yes thank you I am not to bad left with after effects that have sadly affected my weight and mobility , both make me feel very low at times , but being an ex. Nurse I have a chat with myself and have to pull myself back together , hehe my poor hubby John also has prostate cancer . Thank goodness under control , well was at last l review anyway . He has had a few ops himself . What a pair . He was an audiologist in his working life so like my has to have one of our talks to himself as we both would have needed to do with patients to make them see the positive side of things . We have managed 50 years of marriage together on
Friday ,so. Not done to bad shame John is in hospital for tests most of the day , never mind best be safe than sorry . We will celebrate next week when away . Hehe
Always nicer in the Devon air . And sound of the sea I think . Take care xxx catch up soon

Hello my lovely 👋👋. Thank you so much for your kind words. 🥰. Using the stitch marker just helps in where you start the granny square as it can get a little confusing after a while you get to know your own work and may not have to use one. X. I just wanted to try and make it as easy as I could for beginners. X. 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼. Thanks again x x x ❤️❤️❤️
