It really proves that he's more than just a comedy genius-he's got some serious range! Which other roles of his do you think showed off his hidden dramatic talents?
Kid Danger: *wearing his mighty pup movie outfit and laughs* i LOVE the line from "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" "Dinner with me. I can't cancel again" *laughs more*
Preach, I love that Carrey has been open about his diagnosis, and uses his celebrity status to bring attention to the condition. He's even undergone treatment as an adult.
I didn’t know that the whole table thing from the grinch actually happened until many years later, and I find it hilarious every time I watch it now 😂😂😂😂
Have always loved him. His movies have always delivered humor. Miss not seeing him acting as much but understand and admire him for doing what he needs to do for himself. A lot of actors probably need to do this and don’t they push themselves beyond the limits and end up hurting themselves and or relationships with their families and friends. It’s hard to pick just one but I think the Grinch because I read what he had to endure wearing the costume and know he had to of put his heart and soul into it to make others laugh.
@ from what I read he wants to focus on being an artist. He said that he might consider it if he felt it was really important for people to see. He said he had enough. Whatever he does I hope he takes care of himself in the end that’s what’s important. Hopefully he’s happy and healthy and enjoying life. Life is definitely too short to not be.
@@MsMojo mm&I and dumb and dumber...oh and lier lier..so many to choose from..I remember him telling a story about him putting a check for a million dollars in his father's coffin before he became famous...he knew he'd make it big one day!!.😎
i don't think people appreciate how talented Jim Carey is. Acting and Improv are two different skill sets. Most hollywood actors are good at acting (reading lines) but aren't good at improv. Jim Carey is both and that is very rare! Glad to see him get recognized!
Definitely The Grinch, he makes it seem like a very funny character. Happy tuesday afternoon, Rebecca, take care and God bless you. Greetings from Colombia to you as well
There's a DVD featurette off of The Series of Unfortunate Events that shows Jim Carrey's screen tests full-on improvising as a range of characters that he played as Count Olaf in the movie. It can be found on TH-cam. This is some next level sh... He truly is a master!
Seeing Milo with the Frisbee just makes me think, he's a dog, and the Frisbee is a toy. Jack Russels are also high energy dogs, so he probably saw "TOY!" and thought "PLAY!" Acting be damned, when it's playtime, dogs are gonna play
I think Jim Carrey’s main goal with his acting when he would relieve the tension in every situation with more chaos or bizarreness that leads to outright hilarity 😅 He will not rest until he gave 1000% to every performance
Denounced Kickass 2!?!? NOOOO!!! I'm probably of minority opinion here, but I'm not a Jim Carrey fan. Buuuut, I love Kickass 1&2. And I love Stars and Stripes! I was so mad when he was killed.

How The Grinch Stole Christmas (2000)
Will there be an only murders in the building season 4 video?
Cable Guy and Mask
Bruce Almighty
Dumb and Dumber
The Mask
Sonic the Hedgehog
Horton hears a who
The Truman Show
A Christmas Carol
"Dinner with me, I can't cancel that again." I roared laughing nonstop at that line as a child, I never would have guessed that Carrey improvised it.
Him going back to knock everything off the table in the Grinch will always be my favorite
I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve seen The Mask and Dumb & Dumber, and I still find them funny every time
Which scene in Dumb & Dumber still gets you every time?
@@MsMojo too many to list
"The Truman Show" is one of my favourite Jim Carrey flicks, as it shows how fantastic he is at drama, not just comedy.
It really proves that he's more than just a comedy genius-he's got some serious range! Which other roles of his do you think showed off his hidden dramatic talents?
@@MsMojo Probably "Eternal Sunshine" or "Man on the Moon", really understated, remarkable performances.
"WELL, I HATE TO TELL YOU NARTHA BABY BUT THE G TRAIN HAS LEFT THE STATION!" Jim killed that one 😆
*Martha
Imagine a world where we had a film with Jim Carrey, Bill Murray and Robin Williams in it together, the masters of improv
Even with his unscripted lines, Jimmy Carrey's performance still gave so much life to the character of the Grinch!
Kid Danger: *wearing his mighty pup movie outfit and laughs* i LOVE the line from "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" "Dinner with me. I can't cancel again" *laughs more*
As somebody with ADHD I love Jim Carrey proving your neurodivergeny does not stop you achieving great heights
Preach, I love that Carrey has been open about his diagnosis, and uses his celebrity status to bring attention to the condition. He's even undergone treatment as an adult.
He’s not just a comedian or actor-he’s a force of nature, and his journey is so inspiring to people with ADHD.
You know I didn’t know he had ADHD, but until I read your comment I just thought “well that makes sense”
He is literally hilarious in…
‘Ace Ventura.’
‘The Mask.’
‘The Cable Guy.’
‘Bruce Almighty.’
‘Liar Liar.’
😁
All of his improved moments from the Grinch are absolute comedy gold!!
Jim Carrey was my inspiration for wanting to be a comedian growing up 😂😂😂.
That’s AMAZING! Did you have a favorite Jim Carrey moment growing up that made you think, "Yep, that's what I want to do!"?
A director that has Jim Carrey would be wise to let him improvise. 😂
God, I hope they release a Director’s Cut of How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
Unscripted moments with Jim Carrey are always a treat!
I watched the video just to see the Robotnik dance.
Nothing from Liar Liar is MADNESSSSSS
I totally agree! 😅
I didn’t know that the whole table thing from the grinch actually happened until many years later, and I find it hilarious every time I watch it now 😂😂😂😂

Jim Carrey is such a gem, and his dedication to his craft is next level. Do you think we’ll ever see him come back to a big comedy role?

A comic genius the likes of we'll never see again!!.😎
Which of his wildest roles made you laugh the hardest? Or are you more of a "serious Carrey" fan, like his performance in Eternal Sunshine?

Jim Carrey is no doubt the master of improvisation

My best friend said my humor is unhinged and I used to watch Ace Ventura and The Grinch alot as a kid... hmmmm lol
love Jim Carrey 😍deserves his flowers. The most energetic, extroverted, all around person👑 never will be anyone like him a true art.
I can’t wait for sonic 3!
Count Olaf is underrated ..
I absolutely adore this silly lil feller
Does Hollywood still make movies like these?
9:20 that was awesome and funny and funny at the same time
