I bought my first carbon bike second hand , and I love it , i spent time cleaning and changing some cables over the winter and enjoy it immensely so from Canada to Giant Great Job be Proud

aponcapone i actually do prefer flat bars than drop bars. i also hit the trails with my mtb so it's synonymous that flat bar is my cup of tea :)

Been ridin' Giants since 1980's . I still have my Giant Warp 3 and bought 2016 talon 3 . For the Money you can't beat the Quality and Feel.
I love my propel advanced. Great bike, great handling. Giant bikes are underrated, but actually they are top of pop 👍.
I enjoyed this! I ride an aluminum Giant. Well I did until I crashed it and bent the frame last weekend. Absolutely with out a doubt the BEST bike I have ever been on until I broke her😞. Love Giant bikes.

My giant was a giant piece of shit, the brakes squeaked, the frame cracked and the wheels were always warped. Will always get specialized from now on.

Giant city trooper with double suspension.I am still searching this type of bike second hand.Unfortunately i live in greece.Biking in the city in greece is like you ride a horse.Very bad road network.I hope one day to enjoy the city trooper.

I bought the new XTC Advanced 2 2021 and it says Made in the Netherlands on the frame. Is the frame really made in the Netherlands or is it just assambled there?
@Giant what is he best way products to clean the matte paint finish on the Advance Propel models that will not stain on the paint job? Wanting to clean mine, but worried I might stain the matte finish.

Well they managed to go backwards in terms of paint schemes. This year has some hideous, HIDEOUS color combos.
Very cool woven their own carbon fiber SO can I go to a GAINT bicycle shop and custom a 63 0r 65 cm bicycle.. This is a GAINT bicycle company right!!!

Once you ride a carbon frame road bike with carbon wheels there’s no going back. My heart rate is down and my times over the same route are down. 2 minutes on my usual 10K ride. Granted my Aluminum bike is a tank and not lite by any means.
Maybe one day Giant will build a decent recumbent bike for people who like comfort with speed. Giant makes good bikes and they all follow the same design sanctioned by the UCI ! Too bad they listen to the french governing body to tell them what a bike is or is not.
It's like Henry Ford..........you can have any color you want as long as it's red, white, black, or gray.

Hoi, ik moet eerlijk toegeven dat de fietsen van giant mega goed zijn, ik had ook een Giant mountainbike. En ik was sneller op die fiets dan iemand op een racefiets!!!!!!!
Nu komen we bij de Giant contra. Er worden te weinig vaste contracten uitgegeven. Hoewel ze alles voor Giant doen. Als een werknemer 2 jaar hard werkt voor het bedrijf zonder ziekteverlof op te nemen, moet hij een vast contract krijgen en niet na 2 jaar eruit geschopt worden. Het principe met de uitzendbureaus brengt helemaal niets op behalve voor de uitzendbureaus.

Giant does make some good bikes, there is no denying that. However, dealing with them as a company, especially in Taiwan (their home base), is practically hopeless. Their Taiwanese website is many years out of date, listing bikes their dealers refuse to work with you to get the bike you want and need. I do not know if it is Taiwanese franchise/corporate culture at play, but it is hopeless.
I owned a Giant when I was state-side and it was all I could ask for. I could not bring it with me, as the shipping and import fees were triple what I paid for the bike!
I have tried for 6 years to get a proper bike to fit my tall frame. In the rest of the world, not a problem. In Taiwan -where I should say I live- is unheard of. Dealership after dealership outright refuses to special order, saying anything from "impossible" to "illegal." Directly contacting the company lead to countless unanswered emails and un returned calls, if there was an answer at all. Ordering one from the US or wherever, and shipping it back in is a no can do, due in part to Taiwan's draconian protectionist tariffs (referenced above). Tariffs that were created in part by companies like Giant to prevent other manufacturers from gaining a foothold.

Holy crap lol. I just commented basically the same thing and then scrolled down and saw ur comment. And u said this 3 years ago. The 2018 and 2019 propels have some of the ugliest color combos ever. Like the yellowish/brownish one. And just the basic pattern itself is just so ugly it's mindblowwing. They need to go back to having the simplistic "GIANT" going down the seat tube. They looked killer.

Please, please, PLEASEEEE go back to the older, simplistic paint schemes and colors. These new propels (2018-2019) have the UGLIEST colors and the pattern itself is just horrendous. I've never seen so many people complain about a bike company's paint schemes as much as i have with Giant.
DO NOT BUY GIANT BIKES giant bikes are so rubbish do not buy giant bikes i was buy giant tcr advenced 2017 i was done 76 km on it and after them bike been cracks my weight is 74kg ..

LOL , i have 5 GIANT bicycles and i've never had a problem . The oldest had now 19 years ( a VTT) and it is always a good one bicyle !
You need to buy a steel bicyle of 20 kgs and no jump more than 2 m !

Anything manufactured can fail, but not many companies offer a lifetime frame replacement warranty like Giant do. I'm assuming the OP got a brand new frame replaced for free and had no further problems or he probably would have been back to say a second frame cracked
