I discovered the musical "by accident", in July '23 when I was in London for Bruce Springsteen's two concerts. I know London very well, so I was looking for something to do in the afternoon before the show in Hyde Park. I was thunderstruck, literally. I sang, danced, cried, and laughed like I haven't in years. and I'm almost 60 years old, 40 of which I spent traveling the world to see Bruce. I've seen the musicaln at least once a month since then. I live in Milan, get my ticket as soon as I have some time, leave by fly at 10 a.m. and arrive at 12 noon in London, headed to the Piccadilly Theatre for the 2:30 p.m. show and then at 8 p.m. fly back home. and or I will as long as it's on in London. see it, experience it, love it. it's just amazing!!! all the best, Alessandro

Super jealous!!! I've been looking for tour footage ever since I found out that the man who plays Santiago is someone I went to high school with! Gabe was so amazing even then and I am so proud that he's living his dream

Is this allowed to be filmed? I know AEA is strict about stuff like this.

Been wondering this too. This is still the show but also it’s the final bows. Usually the bows are allowed to be filmed and many musicals have a reprise as part of the bows to end on a high note. No idea though

@@ryanb4940 when I saw the show in 2019, it was still allowed, but last fall, I got busted for just taking a video of the bows. I have a friend who works at the Hirschfeld and she told me that they’ve gotten stricter about it recently.

@@dylansmith1833 oh wow. I recently saw Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in San Francisco with my boyfriend (after waiting two years due to pandemic haha) and filmed the bows openly. That being said, they weren’t singing and doing a performance like this haha. That sucks. I know we can’t film any of the performance but it’s nice to have a little video of the bows at least. It’s a nice memory if your night.

@@ryanb4940 I had a video from 2019 with the OBC on my TH-cam channel but it got taken down due to copyright. It had like 46k views.

"allowed" of course not, but individual theater enforcement is widely variable, and from time to time someone will spirit out a partial coverage of the show they paid in this case probably 600 plus to watch. It's a decent consolation prize for those of us who will never get a chance to see the show, barring an official, professional release. (which I will always be hopeful for)
