I'd say they did a good job but i felt the man was clearly putting in more effort then she was. The purpose of the tango is to light a fire in the audience with passion and raw sexual energy. Him i could feel something but the woman felt so stiff through most of the choreography. When it comes to ballroom dancing there's a term, the Flower and the Frame. It's the Lead Dancer's job to evoke attention to their partner mainly and make them look like a beautiful blooming flower on the dance floor. Sadly the Partner's movements and facial expressions failed to capture my passion while the lead was clearly putting in more effort in order to make her stand out but even with that beautiful dress he clearly outshined her.
