I have definitely felt, every postpartum, the newborn baby is not the hard part...it's my body not functioning like normal that makes everything so hard for a bit. I think you have a very solid plan in place. It's great that the girls are big enough to continue some of their work a little bit independently at this stage. :)
I've got a list of 'filler' work. When I need some free time, we use Khan Academy a lot or watch something educational (Wild Krats, Magic School Bus, Ada Twist, Emily Science Lab, Elinor Wonders, Hero Elementary, School House Rock, etc.) It's all educational, but makes the kiddo feel like she gets extra tablet time and gets to watch cartoons. You're doing a great job mama, and prioritizing your physical and mental health once baby girl is here, is the best thing you can do for your whole family. It sounds like you've made a great plan to prioritize that healing as well as enjoy this newborn phase while you keep the ball rolling! I got just one, and admire you're about to be juggling four with so much grace.
Hey! I’m wondering if you have a favorites video for your homeschool library - if not would love to see one! Have some homeschool funds I’d like to use towards books!!
That's a great idea! I haven't made one like that in a really long time, so I'll add it to my schedule 😊 Are you looking for resource book recs or literature recs?
My husband also works in a school (and works through the summer). We take off some of his breaks, and we school through (but with a reduced schedule) some of them. My kids are little enough right now that they can finish their work and still have plenty of time to hang out with Dad. I also never thought we'd be on a public school schedule, but that's just how it worked out 😅.
😅😅😅 I always get stressed out when I have to change the plan! How is your schedule or plan for the homeschool year working out?
You have done amazing to get where you are in your school year. The homeschool experience shows. Can't wait to see how the rest of your year goes!
Thank you!

Yes! I won't have much help this time around, so I'm extra grateful that my older girls are so independent

Educational screen time is the best!
Love seeing your process of deciding how to approach this new season!
Thank you for watching!

It's nice to be able to adapt to whatever life throws our way, even if it's just the PS schedule 😅
