Thank you for sharing what you have learned. Fishing can be so secretive sometimes. I’ve been doing this for about 5 years also. I’m definitely not at your level, but I’m working on it. Always learning.

I've used the techniques I learned from Sam Porter in his videos in lakes that we all fish here in the PNW, and they've worked. Whatever you decide to do as far as sharing information, Whatever it is, I appreciate it. Even if you don't share any specifics. Just today's video alone made me think about all the stuff I learned just a few years ago when I started bass fishing. So yea. Thanks bro. Keep it up.

Happy to help! Funny that many of us bass fisherman have a level of selfishness when it comes to sharing our "secrets", whether it be spots, baits, or techniques...I'm a pretty big offender, these aren't just secrets some other guy told me, these are things I put together after many many hours of trial and error. But I will absolutely share what I can.
BTW, Sam is great, he bought me my first swim jig about 6 years ago...still throw it to this day...who would of thought? Not even sure if he'd remember that lol

Do you have any tips for fishing really weedy lakes like lake terrell and clear lake in the summer? Have been having a lot of trouble getting baits down to fish level, as always love the content!!

Haven't fished those lakes much so no tips specific to those lakes... But weedy lakes in general I use chatterbaits over the top and along weed lines (smaller trailer during the summer), when the weeds are just under the surface can't beat a whopper plopper to cover water-not many bites but BIG bites. Finesse Shakyhead worm(or any Texas rig) on outer weed lines, just throw different creatures and worms until you get consistent bites.

That's how I would start figuring out the lake anyway, Don't be afraid to use heavier line, when you hook up your going to need to horse them to keep them out of the weeds

Hey man! Your videos rock. Just wondering, why don't you ever use a bait casting rod?

Thanks...Grew up with spinning rods so I use them mostly unless I fish heavy cover, finally got a swimbait combo and a top water combo just least year lol. Didn't really stop me from catching Giants all the time, but everybody keeps telling me I need to use them so I'm finally building up my arsenal
