  • How To: Part Out LEGO Minifigure Blind Bags on Bricklink
In this video I show how we at Just A Brick In The Bucket part out LEGO Minifigure Blind Bags. We build the mini figure, bag it, and sort the accessories separate before listing it on BrickLink.

Excellent video. Never thought of parting out this way. This has to be one of the clearest part out explanations I’ve seen. Thanks!

Ryan A I’m glad I hopefully helped a little bit. I hope to be helping people who are trying to figure out BrickLink. When I started 5 years ago, it was a little confusing and I feel like there was a lack of instruction on TH-cam. Thanks for watching!

Very true! No instruction manual for bricklink. There are so many features that I have no idea what they do. It might not be the most watched video, but maybe you could do a video explaining what some of the different fields do. It took me forever to figure out how to add the tracking number to the invoice. Not sure what other helpful options I might be missing.

I do somewhat the same. I will part out some of the complete minifigs and sell some whole .

Just to let you know, you typed 'Reddish-Brow' (you missed the n) in the description field of the Alastor Mad-Eye Moody minifigure.

What type of bags do you put the minifigures in? What are they called and where do you buy them?

Does separating the accessories from the mini figs really make them more likely to sell? Just looked at the series 21 and Disney series 2 collection and according to the last 6 months, waaaay more are sold as complete “sets” than just the minifigure without its accessories

So is it worth parting out these minifigures? Doesn't seem like anywhere close to 3x value

If you assemble them, doesn't that count as 'used' in Bricklink?

Good video! Just wondering, do you have a lot of orders? I noticed you put you prices pretty high (at the average sale). I usually price mine 30% under last 6 months average... Sorry for my bad english, I'm a french canadian :)

Nicolas Châteauneuf Thank you! You can see our past months sales in our January 2020 Sales video here:
      th-cam.com/video/4F7VkoTdL_w/w-d-xo.html
I’ve found that pricing items at the 6 months sales average is often the best way to make the “correct” amount of money. You always need to factor in your time sorting, picking, and packing an order. Pricing items at the 6 months sales average also helps to prevent the average from going down. So far for this month, our sales are up from last month, so I don’t think our prices are too high, though we are always exploring other ways to get more business. We may explore changing prices in the future.
Thanks for checking out our channel!
P.S. Your English is not bad at all.

Do you have a link for the bins?

    • @JustABrickInTheBucket
      @JustABrickInTheBucket  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Markus!
These are the bins we get. We get them from Target and go into the store to get them as you can only order 10 at a time online and shipping is expensive. They are usually on sale at our target for $0.89 each, but at a dollar a piece, they are a good deal.

You should be able to find similar bins where you live. They might be a different brand, but any kinda that you think will work for you would likely be the best.
