Three Rods shined in Cody Stahl's Bassmaster OPEN Win

Cody Stahl took a massive victory at the recent Bassmaster Open on the Mississippi River in La Crosse, Wisconsin. This win punches Cody's berth into the 2025 Bassmaster Classic at Lake Ray Roberts.
There were a few key baits and techniques that helped Stahl catch the biggest bag of the tournament (19-8) on the Final Day and come back from 5th to win the $47,800 top prize.
IKOS Hammer 73 (7'3" Heavy) - This was his selection for a chatterbait last week. Even though this isn't his usual selection, he did so for more strength around the thicker grass areas he fished.

IKOS Promise 73 (7'3" MedHeavy) - With the heavier cover and longer casts, Stahl opted for the 7-foot-3 version of the Promise for a little bit more length and strength. He usually chooses the Promise 7 for frog applications, but for this week he switched it up slightly.

ZOLO Dragger (7'4" Heavy) - He usually reaches for the ZOLO Brawler (7'6" XHeavy), but out of necessity for more precise casts and pinpoint accuracy, he downsized action and length and chose the ZOLO Dragger for his bigger swimbait application.
