Also tried S24 ultra after been using fold 5 for some time. For me its not working. Once you go fold, you can't go back. Before that was using iphones all the time, been trying androids several times, but returned to iphone once again. But since the release of the fold 4 and then the fold 5 I just can't come back to a regular phone anymore.
This is exactly what I think as well. The s24U is a great phone, but the size and extra capabilities is lost with me. The folding phone is basically two phones in one, small for daily use and small tablet for content watching or any sort of productive use.
Being someone who has never got on with tablets as they are too big and do everything my phone can do ive never been drawn to them and see them as a waste of money but I've always liked the slightly bigger screen on a phone, i feel the s24 ultra just works for me. I'd love to try a foldable device, but im not sure i would like what it brings to the table as i feel I'd always use one part more than the other plus the price for a foldable is just insane.
Yeah I can see that too, I like that the fold is small enough to still be usable and not always a "tablet" per se. But the price is always such a bummer since I think it drives people away from folding phones
@nerdgrafx i think it would be nice if they built a fold 6 and fold 6 ultra. That way, they could bring the price closer to the s24 ultra while still giving most of what you want from a foldable phone and appealing to more people. I feel this would be similar to how they have done it with the s24 plus and the s24 ultra. These two devices are close in comparison, but the price and some form factor separate the 2 devices
@@sparkylights6069 This would be a great option for most people. I feel like the price drives people away, but if they offered a more affordable one it could be a gateway to drive the "Ultra" sales the next year once people buy into using a folding phone. Well, that and making it reliable enough for the general public since not everyone is careful with their phones lol
S24 Ultra is not for everyone. Great video and I can appreciate your honest point of view. I personally wouldn't change mine for any other phone. It works for me 🙂
Thank you! I completely agree, it's a great phone overall, I think the fold just ruined my expectation for an "everyday" phone with the less wide frame.
Fold is an amazing phone. I just sold for s24u but it has its down sides. Downs for me are the finger print scanner under the screen is not as good as the button on fold 5 it's minor issue I guess. It's still early days buy I do like the AI features and the camera quality 👌
I also feel the same way about the fingerprint sensor! It's cool, but I always get a couple misses throughout the day even with multiple fingerprints registered. The camera is definitely as good as it gets though
The S24 Ultra is not a good phone, it's just too big for even two hands. I bought it and couldn't use it but but the regular 24 instead and it's awesome. Easy in one hand and easy in the pocket
The S24U is definitely a large phone! I also a difficult time carrying it around since I'm used to smaller phones especially coming from the slim fold 5
@@Geofexx They really are the norm now which is why screens are just getting larger. My small hands just can't do single handed swipe keyboard on the ProMax/Plus/Ultra models Lol

I’m from Zfold5 too, I just sold it to get S24Ultra.
Do you regret going from fold 5 to the s24 ultra or are you happy that you did?
Nice! I'm curious as to what made you leave the fold for the s24u?
I'm from the Fold 3. After 2 years I opened it and the glass broke. ;( Now I am happy with the S24 Ultra. The Camera and AI is super cool!
Do you have grainy display issue in low Brightness or dark mode,?
Oh nice! What made you go for the s24u over another fold?

I use 100xs zoom all the time an S-Pen
Oh wow! What do you normally use the S pen for? I couldn't really find a day to day use for me
@nerdgrafx take notes watching you tube use the whoop on s-pen
