- On this first weekend in October, we knew we would have to go to high altitudes to see Fall color coming in.
So, we drove up to the currently highest place accessible in the Eastern United States....Kuwohi.
Kuwohi (formerly Clingmans Dome), is the highest point in Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
