Matt, while pushing Pat, also fumbles over and hangs off the ledge. Matt and Pat are now holding on for dear life while slapping each others’ knuckles to make them release grip. Matt and Pat then fall simultaneously into the deep abyss. This whole time, Woolie was watching from 12 feet away. He’s still standing, making him the victor!
Am I the only one who remembers and misses the Super Best Friends Brawl? Fighting games are my favorite genre to play and watch, but after 3+ years, it would be nice to see something else. SBFB was the best because they played anything that was multiplayer. Perfect Dark, Mario Party, etc.

From what I undertand (at least form asking Pat I think) they just got bummed out when they lost the Brawl with Liam etc. and since then they just have been very unresponsive to doing another. Also brawls were probably the highest effort show they worked on. I ask here and there if theres a chance for it coming back but in the end it is 100% up to them. Personally I think its a shame that it has been absent for so long.

Kiefer Gray eh, duck game is cool but it’s not what I wanted out of Nidhogg 2. I wanted to keep the minimalist art style and faux-seriousness of the original. Duck Game is silly and it relishes in it. Edit: I realize this game itself isn’t too serious but I never got the impression the stick figures were ugly, stupid, etc. unlike Nidhogg 2’s characters.

This Fisticuffs is seriously one of the best: the gameplay, the snake guns, Pat's ridiculous sounds, and Matt's wonderful coward tactics just create something that everyone should experience.
The kickass laser sword that launches you forward? That might be a reference to one of the biggest names in stickman fighting animation, FLLFFL. His character was famous for having a rocket-powered sword.
Props to Woolie for dominating that! My two favourite kills have to go to Matt though. 16:20 for the clutchin' out and 24:00 for lettin the greedy die haha
The fact that it just pushes you in there to start the crazy shenanigans is crazy within itself and extremely interesting. I always did love those Flipnote Hatena stick figure fights. "Snakes, how could you do this to MEEEEE!" That's a quote to almost end a year on. I loved that.

Don't say snake shotgun the worst weapon! If you shoot it downwards you can effectively fly with it and then your opponents will die to snakes bellow you! Also I am sad that you guys didn't experience the true power of the blink dagger and the black hole gun. Edit: if you hit esc and go into options you can turn on melee weapons only, that can make the blink dagger spawn frequently.

I always wished they'd revisit this one like they did Gang Beasts, because it's so good, and it gets way better when you realize just how strong throwing your weapons is and how cool parries can be. Oh well.

I think I can say confidently a lot of us would like to see some fighting game videos where you actually have friendly competition and funny shit talk. With lots of new and great fighting games (traditional and not) that have come out in the passed while you have a lot of options for some stellar new brawls. You've come up with lots of new insiders and joke characters to reference and plenty of animators that would make a sweet character select for them like before. Fun fact about stick fight: if using a controller, right stick can be used to aim guns while you move, which is why R2/RT is mapped to attack as well
