I am a huge fan of the "rework" they are doing with Hunt Characters. March 7th, Boothill, and even Moze and Feixiao's kits look really cool and interesting so I cannot wait to try them out. In particular I have been having so much fun using both March and Boothill, and it has been incredible to watch them combo into each other together when running a follow up team
Great video, bro. I really like how you examine the path of the Hunt. I think I mentioned this in the comments of your previous videos, but the class system in this game is interesting because in-universe these paths are a more tangible form of philosophies. And the Hunt path showcases this with how every character following this path showcase the core aspects of it- overcoming insecurities and enacting justice- but doing it in different ways that don’t make the characters feel too similar. That’s why I’m excited to see Rappa be introduced. She may be an Erudition unit, but she is a Galaxy Ranger. Aside from the general bottom line of never bullying the weak and innocent, each ranger has their own brand of justice, and I’m excited to see how her views of justice and the Hunt path differ in any way from Boothill. And yes, Dr. Ratio’s VA is fantastic and adds a great level of charm to the character.
Yeah, the way that they have implemented a sort of philosophy on the backend of the character's paths. Even if not immediately obvious is something that I geniunely enjoy and appreciate a ton. So far Nihility has been my favorite. Especially with how well they portayed it within the playable characters. But also also in the 2.1 Yawning Chasm storyline. To this day, that, and Guyun's story will be engraved in my mind. I am so hyped to see how they Flesh out Rappa and Erudition further once she gets released. Her design over all is really awesome and I just adore how incredible she looks! I want to assume she is going one of the most sound of mind members of the Rangers. Since, despite how odd Argenti appears, during every appearance he has had, he always has been helpful and aiding us like in Yunli's quest, saving Aventurine and even during the bomb emergency at the Radiant Feldspar. Dr Ratio will forever be one of my favorite characters because of his VA. I have his "Just do it" speech as my alarm now lol. At first I thought Ratio was mean and angry, but he truly is a character I learnt to appreciate and respect so much. He is the best
The Hunt is my favorite path, and the fact that two of my favorite characters are The Hunt (Yanqing 1st and Sushang on 2nd place) But your video made me learn more about characters like Boothill or Topaz too, they are so well written! (But still I think Yanqing is the best written one, he is also very relatable and the Abundance Yanqing theory makes him even more interesting!) I can't wait for more videos like that! I would love to learn more about other parts of HSR I never really cared about!
Since the very beginning of the game I have adored Sushang. She always looked like a lot of fun. And I was so happy with how goofy she was. She carried me so much through so much of the early game content with Clara. I do agree Yanqing's lore has lot more depth currently and as a whole I love the fact many of the small details Hoyo leaves in the game for players to find
@@Otherface I have been introduced into this theory I think less than a month ago, and it made me question everything in the Loufu and I am diving super deep into it. The rabbit hole I am in is so deep that I am at the point that somehow I found that, there are no blonde characters, tourists, which are explicitly labeled as such, in the Loufu (the only place being the Shackling Prison, where mara struck people like Hanya and Xueyi are allowed to work in, as Punishment to attone for their sins). Which is too much of a coincidense Aside from that that, the only Blonde characters we know of in the Xianzhou are Luocha, who has been called explicitly an abomination of Abundance... and Yanqing... And like at this point, that is TOO many coincidenses with going on that I feel like that meme from Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia

I am happy to hear that! Honestly the hunt characters have been amazing and a lot of fun and to a certain extent diving into the ideology and more concepts behind it has me more inspired and motivated. Over the last few months it became one of my favorite paths
I learnt to appreciate it over time. I am still a much MUCH bigger simp for the Nihility though. The Hunt is a path I enjoy a lot, but I will admit I clear content with other characters more often than not
I am now gonna start calling Boothill as Goathill. I am adoring that name lmaooooo. His animation for his empowered basic attack on a Weakness Broken is just is beautiful
Speaking of KH sound effects. I should really incorporate some of the OSTs into the background. The game has always had such amazing music and I adore it so much!
There probably isn't a literal meaning. But it was probably given thag body to debit that of a Chariot. Something that I am stupid and forgot to add in the video The Chariot is an Arcana known for being able to overcome problem conflicts and staying positive against adversity. That through sheer commitment one can emmerge victorious and that is representative of the hunt as a path itself

Even then. I feel like Lan as the Aeon, isn't even the biggest offender. Like they are the biggest abundance hater to ever exist, due to them being a path and having to follow it in order to exist. The Extreme/Abusive Followers of Lan from the Xianzhou are so much worse. Like, the fact that they essentially punished Hanya and Xueyi for being mara-struck, to the point that Hanya needs to essentially wipe her memory constantly after every time Xueyi is destroyed is insane. Not to mention all the other things from the Shackling Prison

Well, I do not agree with a good amount of things that the Xianzhou Alliance does. But I am looking forward to how the Galaxy Rangers are. I feel like the people in power at the Xianzhou abuse the fact they have the direct blessing of Lan to get away with a lot of shit But yeah, it is funny, as of recently a lot of things I found has been anti Xianzhou Alliance lol xD
As a Xianzhou fan, I would like to defend the Xianzhou Alliance, which I agree has its wrongs, but in HSR, it isn't uncommon in the HSR universe, especially in organisations from the Family in Penacony to even the Genius Society, which after seeing them, I have to say that the Xianzhou might fare even better than any of them, because the most important thing to remind yourselves, is that none of the organisations are just black or white. This also the main reason why I hate the IPC the most in all of of HSR. They may strive for interastral peace, but almost all, from the stonehearts to the employees, they all have their selfish agenda (which I think sure you did say something about in the video), especially after seeing Jade's actions in Penacony (also F--k you Aventurine your backstory and boss fight sucks, even Yanqing is 200x better than you, feel free to hate me). The Xianzhou alliance does have a lot of problems, but we forget that they although have a longer lifespan than other living beings, they are still mortal and can die in battle, and are also susceptible to mara, but most importantly, are still human in their mind and spirit which unlike aeons, can still be greedy or have jealousy etc and with over thousands of years of lifespan and great power from Lan, can result in an extremely deep connection with such negative emotions which also is a theoretical main cause for the Xianzhou disasters, but we also need to keep in mind that they are a main force in wiping the denizens of abundance, which one of the 3 disasters in the galaxy (including the antimatter legion and the swarm). Many netizens say that they're being selfish after receiving the power from Yaoshi and are being unfair to the other living beings, but in actual fact they follow the hunt and destroy the denizens of abundance because they have seen the destruction caused by it and want to use the power instead for good, and hunt down the denizens of abundance such as the borisin who use that power to conquer and cause destruction. Of course, after 8000 years, people's mindset can change and some may want even more power or longevity or have selfish gains which results in problems like the Sanctus Medicus or corruption in the higher rankings of the Alliance.

Though I am not a huge fan of certain factions within them, I do enjoy many things that they display from their location. All places have their hidden skeletons after all, and I will judge them on it, but also I will praise all the good and the amazing things that they do. Like General Jing Yuan, I really appreciate him and all he does and I adore him as a character. And now with the addition of Jiaoqiu, I am adoring a lot more of the depth that he may potentially provide for the story. The Genius society and Penacony have done their own fair share of awful things. Heck even Belobog and the Supreme Guardians before Bronya have done many messed up things, and Bronya will have to do some unpleasant things too very likely when crisis arrives in Belobog most likely. The IPC is by far the worst offender as far as "Evil" organizations go, with how much power they hold and how they have the ability to control the media and protection. But the fact that even they have a certain degree of respect for the Xianzhou alliance does speak volumes as they are essentially on par in terms of influence. It is interesting that you bring up the concept of mortality, since we actually don't see many elder characters within the Xianzhou, as most tend to die either by some external factor, like wounds, battles, or accidents, or they "die" when they succumb to Mara Struck, so to a certain degree they are, somewhat, immortal. I am still horrified by the implication of the one Cloud Knight that wielded Guyun (In Yunli's Story) who had his head cut off, but was able to ressurrect and heal from that would because his head was reattatched into him, due to the Xianzhou natives haven't part of the Abundance within them from when they became Long Life Species Also sorry if I missed a part here and there from the message.
