- Who doesn’t love storage hacks? I worked my creativity muscle and found a couple ways to put my photo boxes to the test! (I do still use them for photo organization, but why stop there?) Watch as I take you through all the drawers in my office and how I use these in tandem with my rolling cart! I think you’ll find some new ways to use photo boxes that may change your organization game for the better!

I love this! I bought a storage container full of 4x6 photo boxes at Michael’s & I wasn’t sure exactly how I was going to use all of the boxes. Wow! So many excellent ideas! Now I’m super inspired! Thank you Laura 💙

I use thes in the console of my car, and the glove box to keep small things corralled. I use both the 4x6 and the 5x7, depending on what and where they are stored. I use them for planner stickers and labels from Dollar tree, and for batteries to sort by size. I like the small oblong eye shadows, with 6 colors, from Dollar a Tree and I can store several of these in these boxes, along with The brushes, eye liner and mascara for trips. It keeps them all together in my suitcase or carry on and takes way less room than a makeup bag, plus I can see through it. I store beading projects in them for making bracelets and I can keep the beads for the project with the needles and findings and instructions. I do peyote size beads for bead weaving with several different colors of the tiny beads and 3 or 4 or more bead tubes fit in here perfectly . It works for small cross stitch projects too. Again, They are see through, so I can find the right project at a glance. I could go on, but as Laura said...the possibilities are endless!! I love these boxes.

Thanks for the tip! I scored two modular Iris tote boxes with photo boxes (4X6) - on sale at Joann, and joined the other commenters who use them for storing seed packets!

I use the colored photo storage boxes in my classroom for mini erasers. Manipulatives and other counting materials.

Portable Brother labelers are fun as well, but the Dymo that I still have from the olden days doesn’t need any electricity! On the other hand, my vision isn’t exactly what it used to be and I am appreciating the bigger print that I can make with the Brother labeler. if you have a computer printer at home you can also create labels on plain paper or colored paper, with the size of font that you want. Cut it out and tape it to the inside of the box where you want to be able to read it. I have done that on so many different clear plastic drawers and I love it! I just use a little dab of clear tape to hold it in place and clean it well when it’s time to switch what’s in the drawer or the box!
For anyone watching this from Australia - Kmart has the photo storage boxes within a larger carry case for around $15 (I think). I use them for our first aid kit. Can’t attach photo, sorry. They are called ‘photo and craft storage box’ and they’re in the crafting section at Kmart

It concerns me that the containers are larger thst most of what's in them. I was taught the container should fit the product. Not bigger than you need. Is there a logic im missing

@@colettedoss4563 but you can use what ever size you want, depending on what you need to store. I use a lot of both sizes.
