    @InvinsibleChew You mean Moscow do you?
    It finally proves that Ma Lin saves the whole team as Ma Long collapsed against Timo Boll in the first match, putting enormous pressure on the team.
    I do think Liu Guoliang has a point in selecting someone who is psychologically mature and experienced. It is totally different business playing team selection and playing finals in WTTTC, and Liu knows that.

    @InvinsibleChew agree, each coach will fight for their student's rights. Liu is heavy weight, but not all weight.

      Sometimes its just about playing styles. Some suit the other.. It's hard to explain but it's true... 🙅

    @TTPoster I'm sure he will, but I honestly wonder who the second spot should be... neither ZJK or Wang Hao are playing very well right now.

    Chinese players are always fair-play and respectful either in victory or defeat.

    @InvinsibleChew You don't get this...Wang Liqin lost the trust after he lost to Filimon in one of the WTTTC...and after the Olympics Wang Liqin is basically finished

    @BollForte94 Yes, I try to upload it. :-) Wang Hao doesn't play good at the moment. Let's hope that Liu Guoliang will recognize that it's better to send Ma Long to the London Olympics 2012.

    @rosun82 Yea but did you know how Ma lin got into Mexico World Championship after defeat and defeat within the team? I won't say it must have something to do with Liu's preference on Malin but I highly suspect that anyway.

    @InvinsibleChew I guess we'll never know....but it worked, so it was not a bad decision at least

  • @InvinsibleChew
    @InvinsibleChew 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    @rosun82 No you don't look at two players at equal footing. Malin lost to foreign players more than Wang did. Well, Malin mostly lost in regular open tournaments you may say. After all it's definitely a subjective thing to judge if Liu sides Malin, you can find every subjective reason to defend the fairness, but it's totally up to the general public whether they want to take that.

  • @InvinsibleChew
    @InvinsibleChew 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    @teatimelud I am sure there is this kind of politics in the chinese team even though many might defend it. But it doesn't necessarily only involve liu guoliang. See how Malin and Wanghao (especially Malin after his prime) were given chance to play despite the relatively poor performance.

    Ma, 150% his skill

  • @InvinsibleChew
    @InvinsibleChew 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    @rosun82 Yea i meant Moscow. To me that's too much of a hindsight bias. Malin in that time was not in a good form. Lost almost every matches but one in the team selection matches, and two matches against foreign players. And someone psychologically mature and experienced doesn't only have to be Malin. It can be Wangliqin too obviously. Wang played a lot better in team selection (but wasn't the best) and Liuguoliang asked for rematch again and again.

    Ma Lin strong and proud, he didnt move that much, but he made some powerful strokes, but what I cant conceive, is the fact that he hides some of his serves... not cool :S
