What a hell of a game. Women's basketball is finally starting to rival men's in terms of the high level of competition across the country, let alone in the NCAA tournament. As an Irish fan I am saddened by this loss, but congrats to Baylor. I for one am happy Arike is leaving, she shoots a terrible percentage, doesnt create scoring opportunities for her teammates (1 assist in this game, and that isn't uncommon), and she shot 11-28. Absolutely ridiculous. Next year will be better as Muffet can finally go back to spacing the floor and utilizing ball movement. I hope Cox is okay - she's a great player.
I was looking forward to a Notre Dame win but I was disappointed by their performance. They played like it was not a championship game and wasted many offensive plays. Baylor played well and if their star player did not get injured they probably would have won by 20 points or more.

Turnover pass to back of head. Turnover for layup. These are literally the starting plays.
