- In a probably biggest upset in the history of women's basketball, Morgan William hits the buzzer beater and makes this game historic. Not just that she helped her team to win but she also, together with her teammates, broke UConn 111-game winning streak record (last time UConn lost the game was November 2014) and brought Mississippi State to the FINAL of NCAA for the first time. Game was played on 31.03.2017. in American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.

This Bulldog alum will never forget this game, or the shitty refs who tried to take the game away from us. Great acting job by Katie Lou. Dom is not a dirty player by any means, and she wouldn't jeopardize her team's chances. I can't believe the commentators thought that was a legit foul.
She's definitely exaggerating but it's contact to the face away from the ball. I'm far from a UConn fan but it can be both a great sell job by Katie Lou and a fair call by the refs.

UConn would’ve had this game, but Chong decided to be a hero and start her magnificent play with 18 seconds left on the clock. Nothing makes my blood boil more than the fact she took the ball in with plenty of time left on the clock and cost them the grand final game against South Carolina.
Give Mississippi State credit for their gritty defense and determination. You don't know if UConn would have had the game or not. Anything could have happened in those last moments, even another OT.

This was 1 of the greatest feelings I've ever experienced in cn a team lose ever ...and I'm a GamecockWBB fam. Let me correct that ...I was pretty overjoyed 2 c GamecockWBB demolish uconn in the 2022 Finals ! Anytime that narcissitic jerk geno loses it's a win 4 me ! @@Milks25 naw William was the PG for the 18 SEC Championship game. Holmes was coming off the bench. What I was saying is that Holmes actually played better against SC than William did. Look at the regular season game from last year and the game this year.
@Xisean Anthony, yeah you're right Williams did play in that game. Sh*t's starting to heat up in the SEC right now. I can't wait to see who's left standing. At the beginning of the season I said it would be Miss St vs Kentucky. But, tucky is struggling right now.
@@Milks25 it will be between Miss St and SC again. But SC dont have no one to physically match with Big T. A'ja was her nightmare and she's gone. Add the fact Anriel came to state and basically picked up where Viv dropped off, but in a different way.
SC will have to hit them 3s like they did two weeks ago plus try to get McCowan in foul trouble.

In real life you call the foul right than and there,you don't wait until the next time out to review the film you call it immediately, these refs were and are a disgrace to the game entirely, the better team in Mississippi State won though!
