I like how a bunch of people and youtubers are suddenly remembering this game, lately. Incidentally, I gifted both Prototype games to a friend of mine about a week ago.
ikr? this game deserved its fame long long ago. Now that it is finally getting a sudden fame, I'm hoping people will ask for a part 3 or a whole new remake of it.

@@UHHHHHHHHHHHHH.H Well, actually it wasn't enough for Activision to actually make a part 3. Since they shut down Radical Entertainment saying that they had "financial difficulties". But now it's a different time. It's been literally a decade now. They should be able to start up from scratch now.

I always thought that in the 2nd game, Alex PRETENDED to embrace being evil.
Going along with what everyone said he was "The virus, a monster, not human"
All in order to have someone take him down in such a way that they would have control over the virus' hive mind, and be seen as the hero that took down him.

I don't remember a damn thing about the story in this game, but it was such a good game to load up and wreak havoc in. Wish there were more games like this that just make you feel like a force of nature where you can destroy nearly anything
The Heller thing is actually the other way around, since he's ex-military he consumes them faster so it's painless.
It's really a great way to show the contrast between Mercer and Heller, mercer is brutal and incredibly merciless which when it comes to Heller, he's sympathetic and in a way merciful

In Infamous, you'd shock the hell out of people and riding the electric wires and look badass while doing so. I like the series, just wish it wasn't Playstation exclusive

here some tips for gliding first jump then glide after that use dash and glide again
u will be able to glide further
and also at the upgrade menu there is an upgrade for diving/dive it cool actually
This game and the Infamous games are so badass, really makes you feel so damn powerful. Infamous is more about shooting your enemies and dodging what they shoot at you. Infamous 2 is regarded as the best of the series (by actual fans, not just people who hopped on the hype train of Infamous: Second Son) but Infamous 1 is still great in it's own right, with the Hero story feeling a little better written to me because it feels like a normal guy trying to be good, while the Villain story is just a psychopath, but both are very fun to play, except on certain missions like that one escort mission
Prototype and Hulk UD are about monsters taking on the military and other monsters but Infamous is about a regular ass guy who gets superpowers and can choose to be a hero or a villain who beats other villains. Like you can just be casually walking around and some guy can hit you with a shockwave or some other stuff.
Infamous is a very good game, as even when I find it annoying as hell dying multiple times (no, I'm not bad at the game, the game throws like 70 something enemies at you on missions) i turn my ps3 back on after ten minutes just to look for collectibles and glide across Empire City.
Also, the karma system really makes you feel like you have an impact on the city and the civilians. By the end of the game, you're either celebrated as a hero and praised for saving people's family, or people will run screaming from you, and the braver ones will throw rocks at you and try to beat you up, and the city looks destroyed by your actions.

Just beat the game without dying, man this game is way harder than prototype 2 it’s insane
you can upgrade basically everything about yourself in this game
in the second game your transformations upgrade. bigger claws that do more dmg and shizz like that
can even get shit like laser eye vision and explosive jumping with the dlc
almost forgot to mention the thermobaric nuke you can unlock.

5:30 Uhm... i know its not what anybody wants to hear but Jimmy Neutron AND Fairly Odd Parents both had giant gross pimple episodes. I think Jimmy Neutron had 2 even.
Great vid....but uh...beat the game on at least normal without raging before you rate it a 9/10. I just did literally today, and the entire 3rd act of that game takes it down from a 9 to like a 6 at best for me.
You don’t need a ps3 for infamous you can play it on ps now subscription but ps3 would probably play better also check out the castlevania lords of shadows game when you get the chance 😄

A couple game suggestions I have:

Wolfenstein 2009
The second one has been unavailable on steam, so you'd probably need to either get the PS3 version, Xbox 360 version, or a working PC disc of it.
You might also need to do special things to get the first game to work, like setting the sensitivity as LOW as possible.
You know you can get PS now you can play infamous right I think that's what it's called but it's on the PS4 so yeah you'll see it
