So jealous LOL. You sound as if you had an absolutely fantastic time, meeting all the lovely sewers and vlogers across the world. So glad you enjoyed the trip.
Hello Hayley, fabulous vlog of your trip to England. So pleased you had a wonderful time in our country, visiting friends and historical sites. Your fabrics are beautiful I look forward to seeing your makes. Happy sewing 🧵
So glad you had a wonderful time Hayley ...and a wonderful birthday! Only sad that I could not meet you. I was holiday and didn't even know you were going to be over. I would have made the effort to come down from Scotland to meet you...Now get sewing all that fabric into gorgeous garments!🪡♥x
Hi Hayley I laughed at your video when you said that we were laughing at your expense at one point on the Thursday at BTPD, id forgotten about that , so much fun that day ! Lovely to meet you Wendy
Your trip sounds wonderful, and sounds like you have some beautiful zoomie friends. The fabric you purchased will make wonderful memories everytime you wear it. Thank you for sharing 😀

Ahhhh Hayley my dear friend of course you are very special. I am still absolutely gutted that I couldn’t get to meet you. Of course you know and understand my reasons. I loved this vlog, I was so emotional watching. Love all of your fabric choices and the gifts you bought yourself. Please leave space to add a flag from me when life calms down. The next time you and Chris come to the UK I insist you come to stay with us and explore all of the ancient history in the North East of England and the borders of Scotland. We have an abundance of castles not to mention the Roman history. X. Ps. Your. Chris sounds an absolute star in many many ways.
Hayley I absolutely loved your video, you have put me to shame by flying halfway round the world to visit Andrea and her beautiful shop. I have travelled a lot and now I'm retired I just love my wee quiet island up in Scotland. However, it's on my bucket list to visit that part of the UK, your photos looked great and the fabric, well 😍 look forward to seeing your memades 🥰🏴
It was great to see you trip photos and fabric. What a wonderful time it sounds. Loved living it through you and I look forward to seeing what you make. ❤
Oh Hayley what an amazing trip you had I’m sew blessed to have spent some time with you 🤗 and finally get to meet you and some of our BTPD Zoomies who are all amazing. Thank you for bringing back such happy memories for me with that taste of Vegemite you transported me back to Reynella 🇦🇺 Your fabrics are beautiful and I’m happy you were surprised when you got home Chris is certainly a keeper 🥰
That was delightful Sunday arvo viewing/listening Hayley. All your fabrics are amazing...as are your sewing friends. The icing on the cake for me are the snippets of surrounding towns and villages...'Esape to the Country' is my all time favourite show on tellie. In regards buildings...yes! There is charm and there are Lego houses. Welcome home...I'm pleased you had such a wonderful time x
Loved hearing about your trip Hayley! Visiting Andrea's shop would have been special. Watching her on Sunday night, you feel like a fried. Gorgeous fabrics you chose too!
This was a beautiful blog. You had such a full, and wonderful time. And brought a tear to my eye when you met Andrea for the first time but like long lost friends. And you definitely have a thoughtful man in your life. Hint hint, Perhaps the pale embroidered floral fabric would make a beautiful wedding gown for yourself?
Super vlog Hayley - an hour well spent with you and cup of tea. Love, love, love the intro!😂😂😍. A remodelled bedroom on your return? - I said it before, and I’ll say it again Chris is definitely a keeper!!! It was super to meet you in person - and hopefully it wasn’t a one-off 🥰
Hi Hayley. A little late to this vlog but I had to let you know how much I enjoyed seeing your travels over here 🇬🇧. It’s so strange how this sewing community really makes you feel so warm and welcoming. Of course, you’d walk straight past me in the street but I feel as though I know you 😂! Thanks for your efforts in doing these vlogs btw. Love them all ❤
Oh Hayley you are such a hoot how you started this vlog. I am so thankful that I was part of your trip (and thank you for the treats!!) So glad that you got to Stonehenge, it's a very special place. Your vlog was so much fun and brought back lots of wonderful memories xx
It was sooo lovely to finally meet you! I’m glad you had a great time. This vlog was a pleasure and joy to watch, the intro was hilarious! Thank you for putting it together. X
What a wonderful vlog and it was great to meet you twice! I am only part way through watching it, where does time go! I just thought that I would tell you that I bought some of the Lady McElroy animal print, I don't have as much imagination as you, I made the Lyra dress. A straight copy of Nicola! I love it and have had so many complements. I will get around to posting makes on Instagram. I am away tomorrow for a few days but I am looking forward to watching the rest of your video when I get home. Take care, lots of love.x
I thoroughly enjoyed watching this and the bunting was a fantastic idea. I felt quite emotional watching it and I am not even involved. Today I was going to make up my liberty fabric that I spent so long dithering over. I need to adjust the pattern, but instead of spending my time doing that, I watched you.
I think it's beautiful that you made such connection with these ladies over Zoom for years and that they made the effort to go to the opening AND to meet you. It would have been such a wonderful gift to yourself for your half century birthday! I turn 50 in December NEXT year and would love to do a similar thing - but Scotland in winter would be a little cold😂. It sounds like you had such a fabulous time!
I’ll pop your medal in the mail Dawn 😆 it was truely an epic and I wouldn’t blame anyone for not getting through it 😃 I did have a fabulous time! I think my next sewing trip needs to be to the eastern state of Australia to meet my other favourite fabric shop friends 😉
Great vlog. It was lovely to meet you and thank you for all your help on the day which, with the others, is what made the day possible for everyone. And glad you managed to tick off Stonehenge and dip your toes in at Weymouth where I'm lucky enough to live and swim regularly. Happy sewing with all those lovely fabrics x
I’m glad you were able to fly over to the UK for the Open Day and meet all of your Zoom friends. Thank you for sharing the historical sites too. How long is the wall around York? It looks like it is very long and beautiful.

Now that vlog is finally out, yes I can have a rest! I had a wonderful time and Chris knows at some point we’ll go back for a long trip and visit LOTS of historical sites. Till then though you’re right I’ve got a lot of sewing to do!
So envious but also happy for you! When or if I get the opportunity to go to the UK I will definitely be trying to meet all the wonderful sewists I follow there. Such an incredible community.
You had such a packed couple of weeks! It was so nice to meet you at the opening. I was so surprised to see you as I had been watching your vlog the night before! xx
Thankyou for the awesome video - just a little jealous.........maybe next year you can return for first birthday celebrations and a few of us Aussies could follow you........ I know I'm being a sticky beak but could you share what the fabrics are behind you, they look like they are all labelled for a quilt?? Also what is your other job besides making sewing videos please.
Thank you for sharing your day with me Jean 🌸 I am grateful every day for the sewing friends I have both in 3D and virtually. My life is better for it 💕
