Thanks for sharing! Looking forward to watch the more scenic roads. The main highways is okay for getting far in a short time. But for safety and scenic driving the minor roads is the best by far.
Great vid. Y'all got me jealous again with your weather. Blue skies and sunny for me also, but with temps hovering right around freezing, the RE is hanging out in the garage. The good news is that my Trip Machine bags are due to be delivered Monday. Just want to say thanks again for the discount code.
Thanks. Sadly we had to deal with heavy rain pretty much every day for the last 6 months. But now the best months weather wise for riding in Thailand are finally here. So will be making you jealous for the next 6 months. I’m excited for Monday as much as you are. Fingers crossed and hope you find them as practical as I do 👌🙏
Rain...fun stuff. Glad to hear you'll have some decent riding weather coming up. Where I'm at (plains of Colorado), winter actually can have some warm enough days for a ride, so it's not all bad. I'm really looking forward to seeing how well these Trip Machine bags pan out, I figure they HAVE to be roomier than the RE hard bags. Those things are pretty disappointing. Looking forward to more of your entertaining and informative videos, and ride safe. Seems like everywhere has their share of lunatic 4 wheelers.
@ yes, you are not the only one to say that about the RE hard panniers. They look good and that’s about it. We hand a bag each. Enough room for flip flops, 2 pairs of trousers, 3 T shirts and socks and underwear. I also carried a rechargeable air pump, first aid kit and puncture repair kit. But I wouldn’t have had room for my filming equipment if it wasn’t for the tank bag. I’ve had the bags for 6 months and put them through their paces. No problems at all, apart from colour fading in Thailand sun. But they still look great 🙏 Panniers or Saddle Bags? Another great video Mr &Mrs T. Thanks for the heads up about the double flange rear pulley, I was going to order one from Hitchcocks this month, but I think I’ll hold off for now. Stay safe.
Thank you also. The way they are selling, Hitchcocks should have the new stock also in early 2025. Such a great upgrade for the Meteor :650. Highly recommended 🙏
Thanks. Not even I know the direction of a vlog until I start to edit. I enjoyed looking at the Indian motorbikes. But unless I win the lotttery, would never own one. Early 2025 for the belt drive update 👌🙏
Another enjoyable vlogg Teacher T. Not sure if I liked seeing the elephants used for taking visitors and tourists around. You’re doing a good thing for Thailand as I’m going to look into going to visit there, depending on travel and hotel costs. The cables open to getting wet on the Indian were a bit dodgy! Lovely bikes though. Thanks again ! ride safe 👍
Thanks Pete. Elephants eat a lot and are expensive to keep. If they don’t earn money, they don’t get fed. It’s not perfect, but I’d rather see elephants even if the conditions aren’t exactly perfect, than not see them at all. Sanctuary’s are good, but as soon as the pandemic came, most of them closed down. I do love a v twin though. And the Indians do look amazing. I’ve heard rumours Enfield have a v twin in the pipeline 🙏
@@Teacher-T-Thailand I'm a fan of Indians, better reliabilty than Harley's, but new about the same price. I would love that Indian Challenger you filmed briefly. I have the bike that Polaris/Victory Motorcycles made before the Indian Line, a Victory Cross Country. The Challenger Power Plus 108 motor was designed by Victory and made its way into the Challenger. Soon to be a 112 motor and also to be used in the Chieftain/Roadmaster lineup I have heard. I really enjoyed your video bringing some terrific parts of Thailand in focus. It looks like a beautiful country.
Always great stuff. The scenery is beautiful. I believe you are better off failing in your RE to your liking than spending huge amount of money for the Indian or Harley brand name. You will still find yourself needing to dial the bike to your liking at even higher expense. RE is such a owner friendly bike to work on. I feel it's the beat bang for the buck.
@@Teacher-T-Thailand I have always been interested in the possibility of moving to thailand. Any references that you can suggest for a retired usa citizen?
Good afternoon Teacher T. I gotta laugh but your traffic is just like cruising (?), or trying too along the A10 or M25 with cars switching lanes multiple times without once indicating! These are usually the same demographics that see you riding the white lines in stopped traffic then pull over just enough to stop you riding further before giving it some verbal? But as I'm a patient chap I bide my time and as I go past I always make sure to grin at them a wave good bye as I continue my ride. I love that content feeling I get knowing their blood pressure has increased and not mine 😊... I enjoyed watching those views of Thailand, so thank you for sharing, and see you in the next one. Until then, safe enjoyable cruising you two 🤘😊...
A fellow teacher motorcycle rider ! Hello I'm fan of your channel and coincidentally have very similar lifestyle, arrived in Brazil 8 years ago to teach at a school bought a bike and married a local girl. Considering the super meteor but I've never ridden a cruiser don't know if I'll like it. Thanks for all the videos you make
Thank you for your kind comment TEACHER 🙏 I need my bike to de-stress every day. The commute to and from school works wonders. Brazil certainly seems an amazing place to ride a Super Meteor 650. All the best to you. 👌🙏
I enjoyed that episode. It's a pity about the statue heads and a disgrace! I feel your pain with the heat as here in Tonbridge Kent it shot up to 9c today. 🤣🥶
Hi Mr T, really enjoying your vids, but have a question. I have a SM650 with the Hagon 25mm lowering shocks, but also running a TEC full bore exhaust with a slight upsweep. Been thinking of getting the Expedition saddle bags but not sure if they'll foul on the exhaust. Have you got a side pic of where the bags sit with the bike lowered so I can get a reference point? Cheers!
You are correct to be cautious. I can’t send photos here sadly. But the following video contains footage with my lowered 290 mm shocks instead of the standard 320mm 🙏 Panniers or Saddle Bags? Super Meteor 650 Expedition - Trip Machine Special th-cam.com/video/ilct0foerv0/w-d-xo.html
I have a soft spot for a V twin engine. The sound and feel. Hopefully RE bring one to the market again soon. The I can have 3 REs in the garage also 😂👌🙏
Looking forward for next vlogg
Thank you, as always 🙏
Lovely vid, always looking forward to the next in the series. Keep them coming. Cheers.
Thank you so much. And I think you have just bought me some coffees. That is very kind of you. All the best 👌🙏
bello come sempre il racconto e le immagini, e tanti auguri per il tuo compleanno

Thank you very much for your very interesting video!!! We will be looking forward to the next issues. 🤝

The Indian Scout is my dream bike, But I hvae heard the suspension is horrible.
Sadly I never had time for a test ride. Nothing could be as worse as the original rear shocks on the Super Meteor 650 😂👌🙏
😮Seriously don't understand the attraction of the Indian's😬 (but then I have three REs)
