@Sunny Lov I think you're misunderstanding how elements work in this game, but I'll use Baizhu regardless of how good he is. But they're not gonna add a bunch of elemental reactions and make dendro weak in all of them. Most characters also don't apply their own status conditions to themselves, so it wouldn't necessarily make them easier to kill. We'll have to wait until they actually add it to the game before we know how it'll work, but I don't see why we'd assume it'll just be the worst element.

I WANT Xiao bcs he's a unique character, you know with that *rage-like* elemental burst and all (dude's super badass), but i think I NEED Zhongli.. there are some geo type monster with geo shield and that's annoying af. Yeah, you can penetrate the geo shield using Overload but using 2 characters for a specific monster is a little bit too much. So.. i hope the god of gacha will give me Zhongli in the next update, amen.

Yea it’s insane, and I’ve heard it’s estimated 2700 to make out a five star. And people actually pay that much. Gacha is scary it causes unhealthy addiction, is why there’s a stamina system to keep you from being addicted and not to play all the game away all at once. They’re like, slow it down ok?

Zhongli is way more stylish and badass. He kicks his spear in his auto attack animation and summons a meteor with his Ultimate. But then again he is geo user. Idk how to feel about that. Xiao seems cool too
Well, there’s not much Geo users, that might be interesting. I like Xiao because his personality is one of I like, other thing: I normally really like these characters that appear to be kids when they’re actually extremely powerful and shit, and because I couldn’t get Venti, so I need a better Anemo user than Surcrose or the MC. But Yeah, Zhongli is pretty cool too, I do want to know about Childe too, like, what will be happening to him, is he just going to be a boss or is he actually going to be a character.

The difference is Xiao is pure DPS, Zhongli will most likely be in more of a supportive role in a team with a heavy physical damage focused Main DPS because of the petrify debuff.
I already have Diluc and Keqing I no need more 5 Star DPS characters and I already have a good wind user Venti so I'm skipping Xiao and I'm going for Zhongli. Also I'm free 2 play so I need now manage my primogems I spend most of my gems on trying getting Venti now I'm only at 1.4k but until version 1.1 I still have one month time. More then enough to farm my primogems for Zhongli.

@@lilylouix9224 No the Venti banner also includes Keqing, Qiqi, Diluc... Go to banner information and there u have a list of all 4 and 5 stars u can get. I got my Keqing from the Venti banner. If u get a 5 star character there is a 50% chance u pull Venti if u get a 5 star character and second 5 star character is guaranteed to be Venti but u can pull other 5 star characters beside Venti.

here's what I'm thinking, about to go all tinfoil hat on you guys: supposedly, Xiao had a banner after klee in the CBT. klee is the next banner which is confirmed, so that leads me to believe Xiao is after. Zhongli is coming in 1.1. MHY stated that patches are 6 weeks apart, and character banners last for 3 weeks. this leads me to believe 1.1 will have a Xiao banner followed by a Zhongli banner, and since we don't know much on Childe, he could be the first banner of 1.2. i'm skipping the klee banner since i don't care about her and hoping im a galaxy brain in my theory. i want to get Xiao because i don't currently have another wind user, and he looks busted + is just cool AF looking with his Ult.

Pretty sure Klee will last until 1.1, which will then bring either Childe, Zhongli, or both. The leaks have basically confirmed then both for 1.1 If they're separate, the other will come right after. Xiao will most likely come in December with 1.2, or possibly even next year with the Latern Rite event. I think this may also be the case because on the official channel, it shows Xiao in the Latern animatic. Hoping not, but is also probable.
My boi zhongli looking like a badass, xiao looks more like a kid, although I like both, going for zhongli this time. Note: that doesn't mean I'm going to get them ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ
I'd got for Zhongli because appearance wise, I like his more and also because I have sucrose on my main team. Right now I use MC geo for the geo element so it's best to get Zhongli to replace her. I do have Ningguang and Noelle but I don't like their play style so I use them 2 for expedition xD
My main DPS is Ningguang now, but for Noelle, i just use her shield which is not actually so necessary because crystallization will already create some diamond particle to obtain shield. So Zhongli might be useful for me, for Ningguang, and for my team in the future. So yea, i’ll go Zhongli for sure. 😊

@@5H4D3 Childe is an archer who can summon weapons (albeit made from water) which include a spear and two shortswords. He is also a ginger. Adult Shirou before going tan lmao
@@Carsu12 Ngl I forgot about the spear in the melee combo. This also made me kinda wish he'd have all weapon types included in his combos. Melee be like - Sword -> double dagger -> Spear for normal combo and charge attack with claymore. And his ultimate could use a book for the cast.

Xiao seems more like a straight up DPS and fun world adventure character. Zhongli seems like he will be more of a support character than a DPS unit. I'm personally going to be using Xiao and Diluc as my two DPS units that I'll be switching between, and my secondary units will probably be Barbara and whatever elemental proc character that works best for Diluc and Xiao, so recommendations would be nice from anyone reading this.
@@ericx6969 I did, he petrifies and I believe has an attack buff for the rest of the party which makes me believe he isn't the unit you'll be dealing out damage with but rather the unit that allows other characters to put out the big numbers.
@@ericx6969 Just adding more to this, I highly doubt his petrify skill will work on bosses so it kind of depletes his overall usage in boss battles which is where big DPS characters are going to be shining. He seems like he will just be a really really good overall support unit with moderate damage that will boost the rest of the teams damage and be super good at crowd control.
I recommend Bennett with Attack % artifacts and energy recharge. You mainly want to use Bennett for his ultimate, which gives allies above a certain health range a large percentage of Bennett's attack. If they don't reach the health percentage, which is around 70-80%, they heal in the area every second until they do. On top of his ultimate, 2 Pyros gives -40% Cryo duration for the party and +25% Attack for the party. Bennett's damage is also not bad and can be built for DPS if you really wanted to but there is obviously better options as Bennett is just Walmart-version Diluc
Klee was rumored to be dropping next week. Now they just released a PV for her, so the rumor was true. Xiao is rumored to be dropping on Nov.7 so, there's an estimate on his release.

It would be cool if they gave out solo character missions for these 5 star characters if you pulled them. For ex, if you pull xiao he has a secret solo mission where you can get good rewards like a specific weapon or artifact for him.
How difficult and expensive it is to level up and ascend characters makes me less excited to pull new characters. I'm going to be looking at and more excited for the rate up 4* characters.

Geo users are useful for domains as having the barrier up stops the CD from being extended and stops the excess stamina consumption, so you can play normally in fights
I would highly recommend people mainly F2P to start saving now for whatever banner will arise in Feb for Chinese new year... we already are not getting a lot of content but i can assure you that the content for Feb is gonna be live, so pick these char only if u really like them.

Having two characters of the same element is actually really good for producing energy plus gives a bonus. Xiao and Venti combo is going to be nuts. (Of course it's up to you who you roll for but that's just a thought)

I WANT Xiao bcs he's a unique character, you know with that *rage-like* elemental burst and all (dude's super badass), but i think I NEED Zhongli.. there are some geo type monster with geo shield and that's annoying af. Yeah, you can penetrate the geo shield using Overload but using 2 characters for a specific monster is a little bit too much. So.. i hope the god of gacha will give me Zhongli in the next update, amen.

Edit: Xiao’s ulti draining his hp is fixable with Barbara or Xingqiu. Actually his hp getting drained is also really nice to pair up with berserk set cuz that would make him stronger too.
Xiao is literally Insect Glaive from Monster Hunter. That and the fact that he has dark Anemo vision is why I want him in my team.

Zhongli is way more stylish and badass. He kicks his spear in his auto attack animation and summons a meteor with his Ultimate. But then again he is geo user. Idk how to feel about that. Xiao seems cool too
Well, there’s not much Geo users, that might be interesting. I like Xiao because his personality is one of I like, other thing: I normally really like these characters that appear to be kids when they’re actually extremely powerful and shit, and because I couldn’t get Venti, so I need a better Anemo user than Surcrose or the MC. But Yeah, Zhongli is pretty cool too, I do want to know about Childe too, like, what will be happening to him, is he just going to be a boss or is he actually going to be a character.

The difference is Xiao is pure DPS, Zhongli will most likely be in more of a supportive role in a team with a heavy physical damage focused Main DPS because of the petrify debuff.
I already have Diluc and Keqing I no need more 5 Star DPS characters and I already have a good wind user Venti so I'm skipping Xiao and I'm going for Zhongli. Also I'm free 2 play so I need now manage my primogems I spend most of my gems on trying getting Venti now I'm only at 1.4k but until version 1.1 I still have one month time. More then enough to farm my primogems for Zhongli.

@@lilylouix9224 No the Venti banner also includes Keqing, Qiqi, Diluc... Go to banner information and there u have a list of all 4 and 5 stars u can get. I got my Keqing from the Venti banner. If u get a 5 star character there is a 50% chance u pull Venti if u get a 5 star character and second 5 star character is guaranteed to be Venti but u can pull other 5 star characters beside Venti.

here's what I'm thinking, about to go all tinfoil hat on you guys: supposedly, Xiao had a banner after klee in the CBT. klee is the next banner which is confirmed, so that leads me to believe Xiao is after. Zhongli is coming in 1.1. MHY stated that patches are 6 weeks apart, and character banners last for 3 weeks. this leads me to believe 1.1 will have a Xiao banner followed by a Zhongli banner, and since we don't know much on Childe, he could be the first banner of 1.2.
i'm skipping the klee banner since i don't care about her and hoping im a galaxy brain in my theory. i want to get Xiao because i don't currently have another wind user, and he looks busted + is just cool AF looking with his Ult.
My view is the same as yours but i think they might put zhongli and childe on the same rate up banner, like %50 then %25(zhongli)%25(childe)

Pretty sure Klee will last until 1.1, which will then bring either Childe, Zhongli, or both. The leaks have basically confirmed then both for 1.1 If they're separate, the other will come right after.
Xiao will most likely come in December with 1.2, or possibly even next year with the Latern Rite event. I think this may also be the case because on the official channel, it shows Xiao in the Latern animatic. Hoping not, but is also probable.

I'd got for Zhongli because appearance wise, I like his more and also because I have sucrose on my main team. Right now I use MC geo for the geo element so it's best to get Zhongli to replace her. I do have Ningguang and Noelle but I don't like their play style so I use them 2 for expedition xD
Actually if you pair another geo it’d be the best combination for zhongli’s abilities since he buffs and also explodes any geo creations
My main DPS is Ningguang now, but for Noelle, i just use her shield which is not actually so necessary because crystallization will already create some diamond particle to obtain shield. So Zhongli might be useful for me, for Ningguang, and for my team in the future. So yea, i’ll go Zhongli for sure. 😊

@@5H4D3 Childe is an archer who can summon weapons (albeit made from water) which include a spear and two shortswords. He is also a ginger. Adult Shirou before going tan lmao
@@Carsu12 Ngl I forgot about the spear in the melee combo. This also made me kinda wish he'd have all weapon types included in his combos. Melee be like - Sword -> double dagger -> Spear for normal combo and charge attack with claymore. And his ultimate could use a book for the cast.

Xiao seems more like a straight up DPS and fun world adventure character. Zhongli seems like he will be more of a support character than a DPS unit. I'm personally going to be using Xiao and Diluc as my two DPS units that I'll be switching between, and my secondary units will probably be Barbara and whatever elemental proc character that works best for Diluc and Xiao, so recommendations would be nice from anyone reading this.

@@ericx6969 I did, he petrifies and I believe has an attack buff for the rest of the party which makes me believe he isn't the unit you'll be dealing out damage with but rather the unit that allows other characters to put out the big numbers.
@@ericx6969 Just adding more to this, I highly doubt his petrify skill will work on bosses so it kind of depletes his overall usage in boss battles which is where big DPS characters are going to be shining. He seems like he will just be a really really good overall support unit with moderate damage that will boost the rest of the teams damage and be super good at crowd control.
I have Keqing as 5star dps so Zhongli might be what i need
I recommend Bennett with Attack % artifacts and energy recharge. You mainly want to use Bennett for his ultimate, which gives allies above a certain health range a large percentage of Bennett's attack. If they don't reach the health percentage, which is around 70-80%, they heal in the area every second until they do. On top of his ultimate, 2 Pyros gives -40% Cryo duration for the party and +25% Attack for the party. Bennett's damage is also not bad and can be built for DPS if you really wanted to but there is obviously better options as Bennett is just Walmart-version Diluc
Klee was rumored to be dropping next week. Now they just released a PV for her, so the rumor was true. Xiao is rumored to be dropping on Nov.7 so, there's an estimate on his release.

Geo users are useful for domains as having the barrier up stops the CD from being extended and stops the excess stamina consumption, so you can play normally in fights
I would highly recommend people mainly F2P to start saving now for whatever banner will arise in Feb for Chinese new year... we already are not getting a lot of content but i can assure you that the content for Feb is gonna be live, so pick these char only if u really like them.
